« The room was ok. Unfortunately, we arrived at 6pm at the hotel to find the reception closed (openings are until 11pm in the ad). We had to wait 30min to finally have our room, which is quite upsetting after a tiring day. Note that we were only able to contact the staff via a local number (no LINE, no WhatsApp, etc.) which is not convenient for all foreigners. »

Paps is a retired tuna captain and it appears his family runs the place. He’s always out front chewing betel nut and keeping an eye on his water. Does not get more local than this.
