Perfect retreat for private getaway
Having booked our stay with Borgo Canonica quite short-term we were very happy that everything was well prepared and highly efficient at the hotel (pick up with small golf cart from the hotel parking space, check-in, luggage service to the room). The accomodation was really beautiful with small details. Even face masks were prepared, soft towels, perfectly furnished from the lobby to the bathroom (all in white/beige, wooden and stone). We really enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel has 15 rooms, is very private, calm (absolutely no noise from outside/street noise) and clean. We had the chance to even enjoy the pool and pool service on our last day and regret we could not stay longer. Staff is really friendly, breakfast was the best in our whole Puglia trip (fresh sorts of cheese, ham and egg menu, also fruits and all kinds of coffee). Highly recommendable!!! We will come back for sure. Thank you for having us.

Das Borgo ist eine Welt für sich. Sehr schon in der Natur gelegen. Äußerst gepflegte Gartenanlage und die trullis sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Nichts zu bemängeln.

Absolute Empfehlung für anspruchsvolle Gäste
Wir haben zwei Nächte in Hotel gebucht und wären sehr gerne noch etwas länger geblieben! Der Service war sehr entgegenkommend und die Anlage fantastisch! Die renovierten Trulli sind wahre Bijous und eher schlicht jedoch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir können nur das Frühstück bewerten, welches voll zu unserer Zufriedenheit war. Das Buffet bot zum normalen Angebot auch verschiedene apulische Spezialitäten an sowie auf Wunsch gekochtes Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut um all die hübschen Dörfer wie Cisternino, Alberobello, Locorotondo etc. erkunden zu können. Ein Auto ist jedoch in dieser Gegend ein absolutes Muss.

Die Anlage war sehr schön, total in Ordnung allerdings etwas schwierig zu finden. Ein Nachteil zum Abendessen gab es nur ein kompl. Menu und keine einzelne Gerichte.

Fairy tale experience!
Absolutely magical stay! Recommend 100% without any hesitation. The room was beyond all expectations. Beautiful pool, grounds, bar and dining. Very private resort. Incredibly helpful staff with great suggestions in the area. If you want to go to the beach be sure to reserve a Le Palme Beach Club for a luxurious day.

It’s a gorgeous hotel, out of way in a country side. Make sure you have a car and a small one. We drove from Lecce to Ostuni area and it was bit challenging 1st time with narrow roads during the heavy rain. Food at a restaurant is amazing . Great chef and very good dishes. Very unique place to stay. So glad we found this place and will go back for sure.

perfect resort!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, this place is a gem! It exceeded my expectations, it is luxury without the crazy price. We loved staying in our little trulli, and I was thrilled to see the beautiful pool. The breakfast was also amazing! I would mentioned if you decide to eat at the restaurant for dinner, it is a little pricey.

Un très bel hôtel, les chambres sont aménagées dans un des trullis d’un ancien hameau de trullis. L’aménagement - en jugeant à partir de le nôtre - des chambres est très confortables. Tout est impeccable, rutilant de propreté. On y mange aussi très bien. L’hôtel est loin des villages, on y est un peu isolé.

Bellissimo hotel diffuso in tanti trulli situato in collina in mezzo agli ulivi. I trulli sono tutti restaurati e curati in ogni dettaglio, l'arredamento è molto bello e nuovo, staff molto gentile e professionale. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la tranquillità, l'atmosfera, la pulizia, e l'ottima cura della struttura, cosa che in Italia non si trova spesso purtroppo. Molto bella anche la piscina. È disponibile un bar accanto alla piscina ed un ristorante. Anche la colazione era davvero ottima. Complimenti!

Amazing
Borgo Canonica is the best! Such a peaceful and luxurious gem in Puglia. We stayed for one night, but wished we had more time to stay here. The only downside was, was that the swimming pool was super cold, but guess it's a lot better during summer time. We enjoyed a short swim anyways. The room was very comfortable and breakfast great. WiFi worked perfectly and parking our car was easy.

Dejligt ophold med en fantastisk service. Dejlig morgenmad. Eneste minus var nogle forfærdelig støjende børn i poolen i weekenden. Deres forældre tog sig ikke af dem. Støjende børn hører ikke hjemme sådan et sted!

The front desk staff were particularly unpleasant and rude. The hotel is understaffed compared to all the other hotels we stayed at in puglia. For ex. They close their kitchen between 1-7:30pm so no food is available to hotel guests at all. Everywhere else would at least keep a light menu available for this extended time. pool chairs are average. No service at the pool - you can walk to the bar and order something but no one comes around, as would be expected for a hotel of this calibre. Overall, the service was average and significantly below similar properties we stayed at in puglia.

Borgo Canonica è un luogo immerso nella pace e nel silenzio. Abbiamo soggiornato da loro solo per una notte, ma la struttura meriterebbe una vacanza più lunga, anche per poter godere della tranquillità a bordo piscina. Dormire nel trullo è stata un'esperienza splendida, anche perchè il nostro alloggio era organizzato con un ingresso con tavolino, bagno ampio e finestrato (tutto in splendida pietra a vista) e una zona letto accanto alla quale, in un piccolo trullo/nicchia, è stato ricavato un armadio a giorno. Avevamo poi un tavolino all'esterno davanti ad un splendido ulivo (che dà il nome alla stanza). Il personale è gentile e preparato e al nostro arrivo sono venuti a prenderci alla zona parcheggio con un kart per poter comodamente trasportare le valigie fino alla porta della stanza.

What a fantastic place..beautifully restored trulli's set in the Italian countryside. The hotel is so clean and fresh, and our room was awesome. The rooms are all individual trulli's that have rustic but very upgraded interiors with every amenity possible. One of the largest 2 person shower I have seen in Italy. The staff was very accommodating and professional. Great breakfast and being located a bit away from a town, we ate at the hotel both nights..fantastic food!
