Speaking of the pictures, the photos create the impression that the home is far out in the country, but it is actually on the outskirts of town, only 3 miles from the best restaurants and a 10 minute drive to the Mammoth Cave visitor center. « Picked this rental due to the boat slip. The rental was so cute, very clean and had everything needed. The check in process was so easy. The outside patio and deck made this location the best. A downside was the boat dock/slip ramp was underwater neck deep, so the family that visited during the stay had to be picked up at the marina with the coolers. The communication with the openers was very quick and so nice. Will be booking here again if available. »

"I enjoyed my stay in the National park. The historical cabins are conveniently located. Closed to the restaurants and trails. Cave tours are amazing. However the cabins are getting old and there was a persistent muggy smell inside. The AC was too loud. Even with my earplugs, I had hard time to fall asleep. "
