This was the perfect property for our family of 14 to vacation together and celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Each couple had their own room and bathroom- the kids had a darling bedroom, playroom with so many toys to play with. The pool, game room, arcade games and movie theater were tons of fun for all to enjoy. The outdoor play area, swings around the fire pit and general yard were amazing with the lake as its backdrop.The grandchildren and their parents enjoyed the lake- too cold for Grammy and Pops!And the kitchen and living area were perfect for gathering and eating. The kitchen was well appointed and nice to have 2 sinks, trash cans in separate areas and 2 dishwashers.We really enjoyed the Bookworm Gardens- a must if you have children. And the Kohler State Park had a huge beach area with a shallow sand bar. Tyler recommended Chef Natalie from Nosh Catering who served a beautiful and delicious meal for our celebration.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect Family Getaway

We felt like we hit the jackpot with this beautiful home. The stunning lake views and private yard were outstanding!The kids were in the lake everyday!When the lake was too chilly, we hung out in the pool.The theater room was super fun at night to just wind down.Sheboygan is only 15 minutes away and we thought it was such a charming city with incredibly friendly people.We normally go to Door County but found this incredible home and we're thrilled we took the chance.We brought our beloved 90 year old Grandma and Gramps with us and the main level bedroom was perfect for them since there are no steps on the main level including the huge deck overlooking the lake.Absolutely a gem.Outstanding host !!We're definitely going to stay at another Wisconsin Getaway property!!Thank you for an unforgettable week!!

Malibu House is insanely gorgeous!

The setting with beach on Lake Michigan was gorgeous. The house is huge, with space for everyone, bathrooms, storage, kitchen stocked and duplicate appliances. The teens enjoyed the video games and the swimming pool. We watched several movies in the theater. You are close to excellent restaurants in Sheboygan if you care to dine out. We made great memories and had family fun galore. I would recommend the friendly hosts for an elegant, spa like location to just relax and enjoy. This is our 2nd experience with these hosts and hope to stay in another of their Vbro houses again. Thank you for helping us make family memories.

Kohler Fall Challenge

A beautiful place!

This place is an amazing place for a vacation. It is so peaceful and has everything you need to have a stellar vacation. It was very clean. The pool was huge and the water very warm. The playground area was amazing. Beach had rocks as well as some sand area. Kids loved it. The arcade was fun, and the movie theater are was super cool. Tyler was a great host and reached out during our stay to see how we liked it and if we had any questions.

Family Lake Fun

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. We had kids ranging from infant up to 12 years old and several adults and there were ample activities for everyone. The pool was a big hit and the lake was beautiful. The property exceeded expectations.

A perfect spot for our family reunion

We were looking for a place by the lake with a pool where three generations of our family could gather, and Malibu House exceeded all our expectations. Magnificent Lake Michigan was always visible through the home’s many floor-to-ceiling windows and from the back deck where we could sit and contemplate while our granddaughters frolicked on the lawn and played on the swing set. We loved cooking together in the chef’s kitchen, where the drawers and cabinets were labeled with their contents—such a thoughtful gesture that saved us from fruitless searching. (The light switches also had labels, again sparing us from frustration in an unfamiliar house.) After dinner we relaxed around the fire ring with its gently swinging benches as the girls roasted marshmallows for s’mores. The media room, complete with a popcorn machine, was like a professional cinema with plush, reclining seats. And of course the indoor pool was a big draw, offering a chance to take a dip in the lake before returning to the pool’s heated warmth. We are grateful to our host, Tyler, and his manager, David, for making our end-of-summer trip a true idyll.

Fantastic view & private access to Lake Michigan

We pick a place every summer for our large family to go to. This year we stayed in Wisconsin and chose the Malibu House. This house is amazing with 3 floors and lots of space for the kids to wander. The private access to Lake Michigan proved to be a bonus with Sea Glass which the kids thought was the best. Truly a great home if you have a lot of people.

The perfect beach getaway

This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. It is a house for total relaxation. The views are beautiful, the neighborhood is peaceful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach. I never want to leave! We definitely will be back again!!

Great long weekend stay for a large group of friends

We had a wonderful time spending a long weekend at the Malibu House. A couple of things to note: - Make sure to receive the check-in process and save it to your phone prior to arriving. We did not have great cell phone service at the house so we had to leave the house to get reception in order to receive check-in instructions. - The in-house audio was not working while we were there which was a bummer, but the manager of the property said they were working on it. - The screen on the door of the screened-in porch was missing which was another bummer when we wanted to spend time outside without the bugs. - We could not get the theater to work while we were there, but it ended up not being a problem because there were so many other things to do at the house including a bonfire in the back, swimming in the indoor pool, and playing outdoor games in the large, beautiful backyard. - We were able to see the northern lights and it was nothing short of spectacular. The lack of light pollution at the house provides incredible viewing of the stars at night. - We hired Chef Colin of Chef on the Run and he was FANTASTIC. We can not say enough about him. He was professional, on-time, and made DELICIOUS food for us even with short notice leading up to the event. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your weekend at the Malibu House. - The setup of the house features a bathroom for every bedroom which worked out great for our group. - We would definitely return to the Malibu house!

The best yet!

Even though the blizzard and deep freeze derailed our plans by leaving the area without power for over 16 hours, Tyler saved the day by graciously putting our family up for the night at the charming and welcoming Highland Lodge. Tyler and house manager, Dave, constantly checked on us, providing updates from the power company and even offering to treat us to nearby indoor venues (pool, gym, tennis, movie theater, bowling) until we could get back in the Malibu House the next day. Without having to ask, Tyler extended our visit free of charge. WOW is how I would describe this house! Every year, my husband and I go on a mini-vacation at a rental property with our three adult children, our son/daughters-in-law and our grandkids (currently ages 2-11). Everyone agreed that this was the best house yet–it was impossible to be bored! The movie theater, pool (with a reassuring security/safety system), arcade games, upstairs bedroom/playroom, kitchen, bedrooms with ensuites, house layout, etc etc, were thoughtfully planned for families. The frigid weather kept us indoors, but we enjoyed the view of the lake and occasional deer sightings. The only problem with our next trip will be deciding which of Tyler and Emily’s properties to visit! I’m thinking we’ll have to experience them all!

Amazing stay!

The Malibu House lived up to every previous 5 star review and the description and pictures were very accurate. The house the clean, fully stocked with all needed necessities and the amenities were amazing. Tyler was a great host and checked in during our stay through the app as well. Everything was a WOW!

Believe the photos you see- the house, its location on Lake Michigan, and all its amenities were spectacular. The house was not only immaculate but also well maintained & supplied with every imaginable item. It was the perfect place to gather our family of twelve for an incredible celebration on Lake Michigan. Our deepest thanks to our hosts for all their efforts in helping make our family reunion perfect.
