« We absolutely loved our stay here… it’s the perfect cottage for a small family to enjoy their time in surrounding areas. Cottage is up on a mountain and we were there in June and it was 10 degrees cooler than in town! Cottage is well maintained and has all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. We will be back!!! »

« The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed. »

« Our dogs were very happy about the thick grass around the property. I didn’t bring their beds, but I went to the Dollar General and bought a rug for them, which softened the hardwood floors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this old stone house. It reminded me of relatives homes from the distant past. There’s only one small bathroom, but since it’s just the two of us, it was fine. We loved the break from the everyday bustle. »
