The floor in the bathroom and shower was extremely slippery. I guest could fall and break an arm or worse. I recommend that the hotel supply no-slip tub mats for the showers.

We loved our stay here! Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor area and pool and watching the fish and birds! Our meal was great and so was breakfast. Very good staff and owner checked on us and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend and in walking distance to groceries and restaurants.

Realmente es el mejor hotel en El Coca, sin embargo hay cosas que mejorar como por ejemplo, un basurero adicional en la habitación aparte del que tiene el baño, revisar conexiones eléctricas (no funcionaba la secadora) y mantenimiento a los hidromasajes de las habitaciones.

Poor restaurant menu and terrible food. Other than that the hotel is fine. A little pricey for the location. The staff was about average. The room was very clean and good size. The room was the best part of it.

Nice hotel
This is a nicely appointed hotel in a relatively remote town. Rooms were sparkling clean and food great. One aspect that would merit improvement is linguistic skills of the staff: not a single person spoke a word of English. For a hotel that bills itself as "Gran" and - the rumor has it - the best in town - I would expect staff that can cater to international clientele.

We booked the hotel because we needed to spend the night before going early morning to the Amazon. Lovely staff that trot to help as much as they can. Hotel is a little bit old but overall we enjoyed

The hotel is comfortable and clean. WiFi is good. The room has a desk, but no power outlet or light at the desk. The desk chair is very uncomfortable and it is the only chair in the room. These are small things, but for business travelers they can make the difference.

La comunicacion de reserva
La atnecion es buena, pero deben comunicarse con el personal por no tener en cuenta la notificacion al ingreso no tenian comunicacion y no sabian que teniamios que ingresar. Al igual cunado ya teniamos que abandonar el Hotel tampoco sabian la forma de pago y hubo controversias entre las Srtas empleadas.

Great Hotel in Coca
Gran Hotel Coca is one of the nicer places to stay in Coca, Ecuador. It has a great pool & bar area. The rooms are spacious & wifi is great for the area. The food at the restaurant is a bit overpriced, but delicious overall. The city of Coca is a bit gritty, so you will find lots of comfort considering other options. By far the nicest hotel in the area.
