Cozy cabin

It was a very cute house- cabin perfect for a couple's get away, or small family or fishermen. Remodeled to be be modern. It was nice to have garage access and a great patio with a grill. Park near by. Steps are steep so not great for older people.Property manager responded in less than 1/2 an hour.

Small home in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The home is very close to many launches. The people in the community are very warm and friendly with most very willing to talk and most will wave as you drive by. The home is only a block from the beautiful backwaters and watching the sunsets or the wildlife from a bench overlooking the river is very rewarding.

Weekend getaway

The property met our expectations. It was small but comfortable in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to 2 bars/restaurants and a convenience store. Centrally located between a couple of our favorite wineries and cool river towns.

Buffalo City tranquility

This was my second time staying here. The small home is awesome for a couple. The neighborhood is as quiet and peaceful as they come. The people are very friendly. As a fisherman I love being able to keep my boat in a garage and charge my batteries at night. The new fish cleaning table is great and was used daily. This area of the state is just lovely. I hope to come back.

Small space

It is just a small old house in a neighborhood. The bedroom is upstairs with steep small steps and has a low ceiling that made it easy to bump your head and allowed no room to use the mirror in the bathroom. There was no outlet that could be used for a curling iron while looking in a mirror. A full size mirror would be nice too. There were many spider webs and areas that could have been cleaned better, including the outdoor table and chairs.

Great place!

I would definitely recommend this home. It is perfect for 1-3 people. I was pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket in the fridge. Although my weekend was cut short due to an accident of a loved 1, my friends were able to enjoy the remainder of the stay. Thank you so much to our host for sharing their rental with us.

The property was within walking distance of the park, a carry out and a couple of restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio, proximity to the river and the nice personal touches welcoming us. Please note the bathroom only had one outlet and was by the window - not very close to the sink or mirror.

Very peaceful stay.

This smaller home is perfect for a fishing or sight seeing get a way. The neighborhood is very quiet, the residents are very friendly, and communication with the host was excellent. Buffalo City is quaint and the surroundings are simply beautiful. I hope to stay here again soon!

July 4th Weekend

A quaint older home. Much character. Well stocked. Good location. Garage was a bonus. We were able to park our Jeep & Motorcycle inside during the storms that came through the area. Would stay here again.

Fantastic stay

This was a perfect spot for Winona State Family weekend. My husband and I stayed with two young adults and it was a perfect resting spot. The owner’s communication was excellent and the hospitality gestures left in advance of our stay made this property one of our best experiences on VRBO. Thank you very much, we would definitely stay again in the future!

Quaint place to stay

This is a cute home, not big but perfect for two people. It is in a very good location to food and drinks. We had a great time exploring the town and eating at the local joints. So if you are looking for a quiet get away, in a very clean and safe town, look no further. We for sure will be back next year for another stay. Southern Wisconsin, driftless zone is always a beautiful place to explore.

Home away from Home!

The most relaxing two and a half days of my life! I don't know where to start to naming. All the wonderful parts of this day. The cabin was cozy and welcoming and all the little touches to make you feel welcome, The owners went above and beyond in my book! We are hoping this can be a yearly get away for us. Everything was within a 1 minute to 5 minute walk. Breathtaking views of the Mississippi, convenience store for all of our grocery needs. No need to have brought the cooler as if we were camping, lost pirate tiki bar and grill was a great way to start the weekend! Took a drive into Alma and had an equally wonderful time coming back to the cabin. Felt like coming home, making ourselves dinner, kicking back and relaxing! Weather looked as if it was going to be rainy and it was the perfect cabin to be at if that was the case but the weather was perfect all weekend. The best part was coming home totally relaxed! The communication with the owners was always friendly and prompt and even though we didn't meet them, feel like it was a friend offering us their place for the weekend. Do you have the opportunity to I highly recommend this cute little cabin!!!

Wonderful Place and Wonderful Host

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a carefree stay. The host was gracious and the property was clean, orderly, and in a convenient location. We had a great time and made many great memories. We'd be happy to stay there again.
