Thank you for the time you have taken to write a comment. We do understand that the lack of restaurants and supermarkets could be a negative for some people. However, to have a National Park like Addo within 5 minutes, a river flowing at the foot of the lodge and all the other add on's you get here, would not have been possible in a built up city environment : Port Elizabeth is only 1/2 hour away and offers fine dining and culture every evening. Hello Gerri,Thank you for the positive response. We greatly appreciate it. Your negative on the privacy on the shower gives us the confirmation that you were either in the Fish Eagle or the Afrika suites. When designing the lay out of these rooms we had to factor in some observations, namely. * They are our honeymoon suites and therefore geared to a romantic setting.* The privacy must be respected by the partner of the one sharing the room. When you sit on your bed, you do not have vision of the showering partner. * The shower has a beautiful view of the river, which is private from the river. You cannot see the person in the shower.* Because they are honeymoon suites the showers can comfortably fit two persons.TO THOSE choosing one of the two suites, unless you are familiar with your partner, remember to choose another suite.
