The tub was old and nasty. The condition of the property on the outside is horrible. The pool was green-brown. It has probably not been painted on the outside in 25 years.

It was horrible so bad needs to be shut down as soon as I pulled in there were drug addicts in the parking lot pool was green could not even see threw the slush I tried to get my money back and was denied full refund it didn’t look anything like in the pictures I’m still waiting for my deposit and half the money I paid refunded

Our room was “clean” but still felt dirty. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the furniture was rotted and breaking apart. The rug was stained a lot and the fridge was dirty. We killed 2 roaches while there. Also the TV wouldn’t work. Asked for assistance 3x and never received help with reprogramming it. The location was convenient to the university but we will not be staying there again.

We were put in the building across the street and off the main road. It was surrounded by vacant buildings and felt scary. The balcony leading to our room was leaning and didn't be safe. It is a good location to the university but hasn't been updated in 50 years. The toilet had a hard time flushing, the sink drained slowly, and the shower also drained very slowly.

I CHOSE TO NOT STAY THERE. Walked in to my room, and could not believe the unsanitary condition. The "connecting" room, was jerry rigged with a rolled up towel, so it couldn't be closed. This place is not safe. Dirty, Dirty and Filthy Rundown! I Can't Believe this motel is Allowed to remain open!!

I should have been more suspect given the price, but thought since it was only 12 hours it would be fine. When I first arrive at my room there was a couple moving out of it. Like they had been living in the room. The desk attendant assigned me a new room, but there was only one working light (no light bulbs) and it smelled terrible. About 5 minutes later, I decided to leave the keys on the desk and left and booked a different hotel.

We had a terrible experience at this location. People smoking marihuana on the exterior halls, tv didn’t work, toilet didn’t work. Humidity problem in bedrooms, it said “Continental Breakfast” and their waffle machine was empty every single morning, the same bread was on their counter top all the week. When we ask for more mix for waffles the person said it wasn’t her business. They didn’t change towels in the whole week.

The pictures to this property are very misleading as the place looks unkept and run down. Our room had dirty socks left behind by a previous guest, the water in the bathroom would run constantly - not a drip but would simply run out of the faucet, the TV would not work, and the room just had a very dingy feel to it. The staff would not answer the front desk phone and when going up to the front desk, they did not seem to care about our concerns. The property did not feel like it had been well lit, and we were scared to go outside as the neighborhood did not feel safe either. The sound of the faucet kept us up at night. The staff did not offer us another room, a credit of any sort, or an offer to put us up elsewhere. This experience was bad enough that we will never consider another La Quinta as a potential place to stay. Regarding Expedia: You need to find a way to do a better job of presenting these hotels. La Quinta horribly misrepresented their hotels with the photos which must have been taken many years ago. Please do a better job of finding a way to audit these places to ensure they are accurately representing their offerings. Your staff while well intentioned, was not able to do much beyond a $25 credit. While appreciated, we feel this fell short based on such a horrible stay.

Hotel didn’t have any room. They didn’t see our booking or confirmation. This was a horrible experience for me and my family. I will never use Expedia again. The other thing is that online agent won’t believe me and won’t refund money while I am the victim. Expedia and la Quinta needs to keep buisness statergy or you will be reported.

You get what you pay for
The entire hotel needs a major overhaul and upgrades. It’s hard to complain knowing I only paid $50 a night in comparison to other hotels. You definitely get what you pay for.

Don’t stay here!
We checked in, went to the room and saw that it was not clean, dingy, had bugs in it, and we decided not to stay there! The manager on duty said she would give me a refund and when I called today to confirm, they said they would not be giving me a refund. I am not happy and do not recommend your hotel to anybody.

Poorly maintained. More like a motel from the 70s. Carpet in the room was.dirty and sticky, furniture scratched, holes in the wall, a framed picture was laying on the floor.

The property is run down dirty outside and lack the Brand quality. There was some damage in the facility the room smelled like wet carpet and had no heating the phone to call the maintenance didn’t work at all the tv wouldn’t turn on. We went up front after maintenance came in and tried to fix the heating and got another room it was better but the carpet was damp I kept my slippers on it was cold and wet outside and the pool was green bad choice.

Terrible from the get go. We had to get housekeeping to let us in our room because our keys wouldn’t work. We had them rekeyed 3 times and still had to be let i. our room every single time with one exception of the key working. The TV didn’t work properly neither did the air/heater. Not a very clean room either.

This place needs to be demolished! Very very gross & dirty. Parking is very shady & backs up to some houses that have the tenants sitting outside just looking at you as your unloading your vehicle. We did not feel safe & did not feel like our overwound be safe. We immediately left & booked at another place not worth it! Our lives are more important!!

Everything was run down terribly. Pool was literally green with algae. Air conditioning did not adjust so to turn on or off I had to unplug from wall.

The room we stayed in had some repairs that needed to be done. The lights over the bathroom vanity did not work, the swinging lock on the main door had a piece missing so it was not workable, and The bottom of the dresser had warped pieces in the wood and looked like it was starting to fall apart. I was going to tell the staff in the morning but when I went to turn in my key they didn’t even acknowledge me. I stood at the desk for a while and two employees continued to have a conversation right in front of me. Finally I just sat down my key and walked away. I have stayed at La Quinta several times and this location was run down.I didn’t think twice about booking this because I’ve always had a good experience in the past. Lesson learned, I will definitely be reading reviews from now on.
