„While the front of the property is unassuming, the inside is spacious and the view is fantastic. Easy check in, and a nice grassy area behind to string up the hammock and read a book. Only suggestion would be to provide additional door stoppers for the beds as they roll very easily on the tile! Doggo and I had a great time, will certainly use this facility again. “

„This was a really maginificent place to stay in the heart of Morpeth. It's in a fabulous historic building. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and there's a great guest lounge. A lovely continental breakfast is included. The owner is wonderful and very helpful. This definitely THE place to stay in Morpeth.“

We also met one of the cleaners, who was lovely, as well as a friendly man who came to look at our phone that wasn't working (I also pointed out the cracked shower tiles to him). I've given 5 stars for cleanliness, because this was honestly one of the cleanest apartments we've ever stayed in! „As soon as I opened the door to my room a strong urine smell hit me. Even with an open window the smell did not go away. The pictures indicated a sink in the room which was not there. The bathrooms were okay and the staff was friendly but very short with explaining the hotel and surroundings. The price of course was cheap but for me not worth it and I would not stay there again.“

Das lag wohl auch daran, dass Maitland nicht im Herzen der Hunter Valley Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt. Wer wirklich das Hunter Valley mit seinem Gardens und den Winzern anschauen will, der sollte eher ein Hotel In Proserpine oder Cessnock suchen.“
