The service and the incessant messages prior to check-in left a bad impression. Firstly they forgot to charge us a cleaning fee and charged us separately for it. After that was a message regarding uploading our personal documents - which was acceptable. Finally they even asked for a video call to verify my identity. The entire process was so tedious with message after message on various payments, documents and calls to be made. I was boarding a flight and could not entertain their video call and the lady at reception snarkily told us that we could not get the room details precisely because we failed the video call step of their multi-step check-in process.
The place was spacious and clean with modern amenities. They only had one air conditioning unit in the living room while the master bedroom was given a fan. The room does get cold enough.
The last straw in solidifying this poor experience was the kettle that when you attempt to boil water, causes a power outage to the entire house. I followed their lengthy handout on how to fix the problem by checking the power in my room and even going downstairs to outside of the apartment to check the power box. The reception, when contacted, was less than enthused to help and upon my insistence, they finally decided to come down to the unit to help.
The room was honestly the only redeeming quality of this entire experience.
