„It was my first visit to Waikawau area where there are two adjacent beautiful bays, Waikawau Bay and Little Bay. The holiday home, Kaka Cottage we stayed at was truly a nice place to enjoy comfort and tranquility as it is situated in the top forest and the host couple is very kind and friendly. They are peace loving people. We really enjoyed staying at the house. I recommend to all.“

Toilette und Badewanne waren nicht sauber, es gab nur ein Badehandtuch für drei Personen und im Geschirrspüler stand das muffige Geschirr vom Vorgänger. Außerdem war im Wäschetrockner noch Wäsche. Auf unsere Nachrichten über den vorgefundenen Zustand haben wir bis heute keine Antworten erhalten.“

„If you are considering this area for your stay, you MUST consider the Coromandel Treasure. We have stayed in many rental properties and this is by far the best we have ever stayed in. It was spotless, spacious, quality in every decision Lyn made. It is well equipped and Lyn went beyond to leave us a welcome package and a wonderful breakfast bar. Which helped so much to get us through the first morning until we could go to 4 Square, a short walk away into the quaint town. Top Town Fish and Chips ...

House has everything you need with so much space, and was so clean and tidy, was lovely to walk in to. Kayaks were an added bonus, were excellent condition and was so much fun to paddle out from the house. Garage was great for storage for our bikes and prams too. „Great views. It is a lockwood house so people need to know it is going to make some interesting noises and you are not getting burgled:-). Great place to take a break, handy to Ocean Beach, Whitianga, great places to eat locally as well.“

„We had a great stay at this apartment. Spacious enough for 5 of us. We really appreciate the well equipped kitchen. Vaughan was really friendly and accomodating. Lovely location, away from the hustle and bustle of "Whiti City" but only a short drive away if you want to eat out or top up your supplies. Just a short walk to the safe swimming beach just across the road if you don't feel like driving elsewhere. Great walks and sunrise from there too. Our children also really enjoyed the pool. „I'd say it's a nice place, but they should clearly state that even if you book a room there won't be any blankets or towels. This is extra. I've never heard ablut that. We needed to pay for that extra.. Also the service lady said she'd soo kind to come back to give it to us, which was odd in that situation. Besides that, still a nice place to stay, but in winter it's not the warmest in the rooms.“
