The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified ...

„on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.“

„Schönes Fischerhaus im Zentrum von Looe, kurze Wege zu Strand, Lebensmittelmarkt, Geschäften und Pubs. Wir waren zu viert mit unseren Kindern, dafür ist das Häuschen unserer Meinung nach etwas zu klein. Ein Hinweis auf Wohnfläche, Deckenhöhe und Bettbreite wäre hier hilfreich gewesen. Ansonsten gut ausgestattet und für einen Pärchenurlaub absolut empfehlenswert. Im Sommer sehr lebhaftes Städtchen.“

„This is a super ground floor apartment with stunning 180 degrees views out to sea. Well equipped and comfortable. Quiet peaceful location. South facing, sunny balcony area a delight. A perfect holiday base whatever the weather. Easy to use car parking space is a bonus in St Mawes. Long flight of steps up to front door not ideal for everyone but fine for us. Close to shops and hotels although hill up and down is steep.“

„We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful. "Grosses Resort mit vielen Besuchern. Frühstück sehr laut und mit Buffet. Restaurants moderat kindertauglich. Der Pool war geheizt (30 Grad), aber bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. In unserem Apartment hat es etwas gemüffelt. Keine Kochmöglichkeit, lediglich Mikrowelle und Backofen vorhanden. Guter Fussweg ins Zentrum (ca 15 Minuten)."

Staff was very very friendly and they responded quickly to our request ( two single beds from one double) . Breakfast was excellent. Cafe /bar/ restaurant area was bright and cheerful, that gave me immediately a good holiday vibe."

"Das Hotel liegt exponiert oberhalb der Klippen direkt am Meer. Man genießt einen grandiosen Ausblick, insbesondere aus dem Frühstücksraum. Das Hotel ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Badezimmer ebenfalls. Die Ausstattung war gut. Kostenfreie Parkplätze am Hotel waren vorhanden. Die Innenstadt von Newquay liegt unterhalb des Hotels und ist fußläufig zu erreichen."

"Tolle Lage, zentral und Meerblick je nach Zimmer, Parkplatz am Hotel nach vorheriger Buchung möglich, saubere Zimmer und gute Betten,. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer im noch nicht renovierten Bereich, in einem roch es leider extrem ( möglicherweise Schimmel / zumindest nicht sichtbar ) . Personal hilfreich und nett. Gute Gastronomie im Haus, manchmal Live Musik, trotzdem ruhiger Schlaf möglich, da nach 23.00 Ruhe."

"Sehr gute Lage, Empfangshalle und der Aufenthalt, wo man Kleinigkeiten zu sich nehmen kann. Fantastischer Blick auf das Meer in den eigenen Garten. Alles sehr sauber und der Spabereich geht in Ordnung mit Schwimmbad und Sportgeräte. Das Zimmer ist sauber und die Betten sind am Abend sauber bezogen und auch die Bäder sind sauber. Das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen."

Der Inhaber muss nur aufpassen das man sich nicht auf dem “Ozean view” ausruht; was die Hotel Instandhaltung, speziell in den Zimmern (z.B. Teppichboden und Matratzen), betrifft."
