Overall a good place.

Place was great. Very nicely decorated/furnished. Some minor maintenance attention would make this a 5 star. Cleanliness was a 3/5. Shower leaked and had some mildew. Floor was sandy (beyond what is expected). Overall a good stay.

Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe it

The condo was immaculate and spectacular! The entire property was so quaint and very quiet. I slept like a baby our entire trip. The kitchen was nicely stocked and it was really nice cooking in such a lovely kitchen. Can’t wait to go back! This is our new place to stay when in Port A.

House right for our family

House worked perfect for our family. It was a 10min walk to the beach through the dune crossover and 2min walk to the pool. No need to rent a golf cart, but a nice to have. The house had everything we need. The rooms were spacious and the decor was very nice. Loved the cooking books and comfortable pillows. It was a busy weekend so there were a lot of cars and golf carts everywhere at the beach. The staff was very attentive though and they were taking orders at the beach for drinks and even food - although I heard they were taking a long time.

I stayed 7/1 - 7/7. This is the 3rd condo I've stayed in at Sea Gate and my stays have always been great except this past week. It was hot in the condo and extremely hot in the bedrooms. The ceiling fan in the primary bedroom makes a grinding noise constantly. The fan light will turn on by itself at various times thru day/night. The ceiling fan in the other king bedroom did not work at all. I think if the temp in the condo is not allowed below a certain degree this needs to be added in the listing and ceiling fans need to be in working order. This is the first time I've had this issue. I did contact guest services twice with no resolution. Other than that, we love staying at Palmilla...

Palmilla Beach is great. This property was lack luster. There was mold all over the master shower. The guest bath toilet paper holder was hanging from the wall. The microwave had double sided tape because the frame was broken. The dishwasher was FILTHY inside. The washing machine had a lovey ring of mold all over the entire grey door piece. The freezer door flings open and caught so many toes and legs. The master ceiling fan wasn’t working so we called maintenace. The next day, we returned to the fan working but ONLY if the light was on. We will come back to Palmilla, but not there. It was definitely not worth the cost we paid.

Disappointed

1. Condo was clean upon arrival 2. Good space 3. No sponge or dishwasher detergent, NO help from Vacasa so I had to take time to go buy these products 4. Vacasa service was poor, they did not offer any resolution in almost 24 hrs. Cited they had >1000 properties so can’t be available except for emergencies. Maybe they have over extended themselves? 5. Cold water faucet doesn’t work in guest bath (1 sink) 6. All plumbing fixtures are cheap in the house 7. Disappointed in Palmilla- seem to brag about running out of chairs, cabanas, golf carts but beach staff was excellent 8. Late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am) is not industry standard 9. Only provided with 2 trash bags for a 3 day stay with 6 people 10. Had to ration the toilet paper on the last day bc they didn’t provide enough. I’d stick with Cinnamon Shores and AirBNB/VRBO over returning.

Traveled a long way; stayed for 7 days

Management must not check appliances, or how things like the bathrooms work. Wash machine and fridge ice maker were broken upon arrival. Microwave only works on 1 setting. Master br shower leaks LOTS of water on the floor, every time. Other br faucet “cold” doesn’t work. No garbage bags, extra TP, clothes hangers or kitchen wash clothes. Floor is filthy dirty. Furniture is visibly dirty. There is a musty very off putting smell to the room. Entrance rug is filthy dirty. Only an OLD broom that doesn’t work. The pool for 3 days in a row was filthy dirty. Couldn’t see your feet at the bottom of the pool. Debris & hair clumps in pool. They need to clean this more than once per week. The Shirley Temple’s at the pool bar were very good. This room was not cheap! Expected wayyyy more for the price! Disappointing, this place has lots of potential to be nice. If the owner & the management company put effort into this place, could be nice. Otherwise pass.

Lovely condo, however it was not disclosed that construction is being done on the houses right next to it. You are unable to sit out and enjoy the patio unless you want construction workers staring at you. The construction workers also park in the assigned parking and left a massive dent in my car door. When we attempted to wash some beach towels it was also noted that the dryer was not working. If you have AT&T as your cell provide there is very little to no cell service at the condo so if you are attempting to work while on vacation you will have to find another area to work at. Overall the house had all of cooking utensils necessary to make it feel like home and the beds were comfortable. My family will come back once construction is finished.

Great home to bring 3 generations

We brought our 2 small children and my 75 year old parents. The house was nicely decorated and roomy enough for all 6 of us to feel comfortable. The bunk room was great for the kids and it was so nice that both adult bedrooms had king sized beds. We will definitely come back!
