The location was close to the beach and was perfect for a couple or small family. The heated pool was nice and the property was quiet. Only complaint would be that the bed was not comfortable, for us. I could only get about 4 hours of sleep before my back pain would wake me up. Full disclosure, I am in my early 40's and do have back issues, but I can normally get about 6-7 hours a night before it bothers me.

Not sure why they reviewed me - they cancelled my

I keep getting asked to view a rental that canceled 2hrs before my checkin. Offered me a higher cost rental in a different complex that required a longer stay or two moblie ac units since my rental had a broken ac. I accepted the cancelation and refund and moved on to find a new place. 2hrs before I was to arrive in town. Soooooo... can't say anything good about it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Village by the Beach is a great location for all things near the water. We brought our family dog and VBTB has good walking to the beach. Some accepted grass areas along the way. Packery Channel is where my husband likes to surf and that is just right near VBTB. Port Aransas is up the road for a big dog park and who doesn't love a golf cart ride on the Island! Our unit we choose to stay is always so quite and clean.
