I've stayed at more vacation rentals than I can count, and LakeHouse Beautiful is hands down my favorite. From the moment we pulled in, the whole world got quieter.The cabin sits on a wooded point surrounded by pines and water, and it feels completely private and secluded. Mornings started with coffee looking out at the lake, and evenings ended by the fire watching the sky change colors over the water. The views are simply stunning, from every window and every corner of the property.Inside, it's cozy and homey in all the right ways. The stone fireplace, the warm pine, the comfortable beds. It was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, so we could just settle in and relax. It felt less like a rental and more like a place that was waiting for us.The location is perfect too. It feels like you're tucked away in the northwoods, yet Duluth is an easy drive. We spent a day hiking at Gooseberry Falls on the North Shore, then returned to the quiet of the lake for a peaceful evening on the dock. It's the best of both worlds: adventure when you want it, total peace when you don't.Calm, peaceful, and beautiful. Honestly, the hardest part of the whole trip was leaving. We're already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend.
