Tropical retreat with beautiful pool and yard

Summary:

Welcome to our beautiful Caribbean retreat. The home sits on a large lot full of Palm, Coconut, Hibiscus and more. Once you enter the property you are surrounded by tropical gardens leading you to the large 2 story house. There are two large private suites. Plenty of seating for you and your guests. French doors off the living room invite you to the large outdoor covered patio with wet bar and gas grill. Relax and enjoy the tropical gardens surrounding the private pool and sun deck.



The Space:

Single family house with 2 ensuite bedrooms. Fully appointed kitchen. 2 1/2 bathrooms. Family room with large TV. loft area with queen size bed seating area and work space with desk and high speed internet throughout. Walled lot with great outdoor space to include tropical gardens and large private pool. Wonderful covered patio area with wet bar and gas grill. off street parking available in gated courtyard.



Guest Access:

Entire house is yours during stay. Garage is not available to park in. Off street parking in gated courtyard.



The Neighborhood:

In the Corpus Christy neighborhood. named after the Catholic cathedral just 2 blocks away. Area is a mix of local family's and second homes. very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, cinemas, pharmacy, ice cream shop, etc.



Ocean is a 5 minute walk down 21st St. No natural beaches on the populated side of the island. There a few establishments less than 10 minutes away that have beaches and swimming areas you can use as a customer.



Coffee shops and small eateries scattered through the neighborhood. Major tourist areas are about a 15 minute walk.



Getting Around:

Cab or shuttle from airport is easy and reasonable. Ask the cost before getting in. Is easy to walk most anywhere around town. for reference it takes about 40 minutes to get north of the passenger ferry pier.



Car rentals are easy. I like HTL since they will drop off a d pick up the cars at the house. Will even drop you at airport and take car. they have a parking lot downtown you can use for free when parking is non existent.



Majority of locals get around on scooters. Driving can be fun, but most everyone drives slow and follows the rules.



Other Things to Note:

the pool has a heater, but we do not run it as it is very expensive. Most guests are fine with the water temperature. We have seen it range from 80 - 85 on its own. I can arrange to have the heater on for an additional daily fee.



💵 Additional Fees

Damage Protection: A damage protection option is required for all reservations and is processed through our third-party system prior to arrival. Before check-in, you'll choose one of two options:

Damage Waiver: A non-refundable fee from $25–$40/night (max $200), covering accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear, up to $500. Most guests pick this, and nothing is held on your card.

Security Deposit: A fully refundable hold from $350–$1,000. This is a pre-authorized hold (not a charge) that is released following a damage-free inspection after checkout, typically within 7 business days.

Amounts depend on the home and length of stay. This is handled separately from your reservation payment.

Optional services like early check-in, late check-out, and extra guests can be arranged on request, subject to availability. These cover the cost of reworking the cleaning schedule or bringing in a second cleaner. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.
