Tucked into the woods in Canadensis, this Norwegian-inspired log cabin offers a cozy escape from busy schedules. Spend an unhurried morning on the porch with coffee, explore the Pocono Mountains, or settle around the fire pit as evening arrives. Whether you're planning a couples' retreat or a quiet getaway with friends, the cabin's appeal is simple: a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the setting.

The Cabin

You'll have the entire cabin to yourselves, with one upstairs loft bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and one full bathroom. Norwegian-themed decor adds character to the rustic log-cabin atmosphere.

The cabin accommodates a maximum of four guests:
One full-size bed in the upstairs loft bedroom
One full-size pullout bed in the living room

The loft is reached by stair and is open rather than fully enclosed Please consider the layout when deciding whether the cabin suits your group.

A Roku TV and internet are available for a relaxed evening indoors. A heat pump provides heating and air conditioning for comfort throughout the seasons. Bed linens and towels are included.

Kitchen and Dining

Prepare simple meals in the kitchen, which includes an apartment-size stove and oven, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and basic kitchen essentials. Coffee is provided, so you can ease into the morning before heading out-or enjoy another cup on the porch.

Outdoor Time

The wooded setting invites you to take a slower pace. Relax on the porch, cook outdoors on the charcoal BBQ, or gather around the fire pit for conversation and an evening under the trees.

Please bring your own charcoal and firewood; neither are supplied.

Explore the Poconos

Enjoy the cabin as a peaceful retreat or use it as a base for exploring the surrounding Pocono Mountains.

Hiking and lake outings: Plan a visit to Promised Land State Park for hiking, fishing, boating, and time outdoors.
Outdoor Adventure: Check out the treetop adventure course and zip lines at Skytop Adventure Center. Reservations are required.
Horseback riding: Explore guided trail rides at Mountain Creek Riding Stable in Cresco.
Local treats: Stop at Callies Candy Kitchen in Mountainhome for chocolates and swwets.
Winter recreation: Plan a day of skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing at Camelback in Tannersville. Promised Land State Park also offers snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when snow conditions allow.

Activities are off-site and may require separate fees, reservations, or equipment.
Availability varies by season and weather.

After a day out, return to the quiet of the woods and make the evening your own.

Maximum occupancy is four guests
Children are permitted, but open loft presents a safety concern for your children. The cabin is not suitable for families with young children.
Guests must use stairs to reach the loft bedroom.
The bathroom has a shower; there is no bathtub.
Pets are not permitted.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
Parties are not permitted. This cabin is intended for quiet getaways.
The gravel driveway accommodates two cars.
Four-wheel drive is recommended during winter.
Firewood and charcoal are not provided
