« This is a great property if you are looking for a private, quiet and relaxing stay in the woods! They had everything we needed and then some. The hosts are very responsive. « As always, the best place to stay!! I have been staying here a lot due to my job beeing in Jefferson and I have never experienced an uncomfortable stay. The hosts are just as beautiful as the scenery and their home. I don’t think I could express enough on how much I love coming here!!! »

« We had a great time at the cottage! Before check-in we went out kayaking from Riverside Canoe and check-in was smooth, the cottage smelled fresh and was nice and cool on a hot summer day.We enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the front porch in the rocking chairs, an all around super relaxing visit. It is tiny but the layout is great, we had 3 adults and a large dog and didn't feel cramped at all. »

« Excellent stay on top of the mountain with a beautiful view from the deck for miles and miles. This is a great spot if you want to be alone. It is important that you realize this house is on top of a mountain. It is NOT suited for someone in a wheelchair. The walk from the parking spot to the house is up a severe incline. « The house is very close to the retail, places to eat, pharmacy, and grocery store. The reason I gave location 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a house that is about 20 yards and shares the driveway. This was not evident in the photos at the time of my booking. This review speaks mostly about pet concerns because the home itself is sweet, well decorated, has comfortable seating, mattress, and a/c.
