« Although the room wasn’t ready when we arrived (at 3:30pm), the staff were very friendly & attentive to get the room ready. The area around the whole ‘resort’, which is a term that should not be associated with this establishment is absolutely terrible… Pool area has peeling astroturf, there is unusable old equipment in the communal areas, rubbish everywhere, unsafe in every public area with broken floorboards, ‘gym’ equipment, bbq and seating area. This motel is surprisingly modern and well-presented, especially considering the price — easily one of the best value stays I’ve come across while travelling long distances. I used it twice so far as a quick overnight stop during a long drive, only for a few hours of sleep, and it was perfect for that purpose — convenient, comfortable.
