„Place was clean and a very traditional Japanese house. If you want authentic, this is your place. Only 1 chair and desk, so sitting on the floor all the time is a bit tough. Good location, quiet and quaint. Could use some helpful kitchen items like oil, soy sauce, s&p. Instructions throughout house was great. Great udon mom and pop shop around corner and local museum. Close to subway and quick bus to Asakusa and other areas. “

„This place is fantastic. It's tucked a good ten or so minute walk from any tourist area so it's nice and quiet. It's very cozy and relaxing. It comes fully stocked with kitchen items. Plates, pans ect... if you plan to stay longer. It's got two conbeni and one grocery store with in two minute walk as well. The only negative is that it's a 20 or so minute walk to the beach and closest station. “

„Die Lage des Hauses ist top. In der Nähe des SkyTree, mit der Möglichkeit zu Fuß über die Brücke nach Asakusa zu spazieren. Dass die Tür-Durchgänge etwas zu niedrig waren, hatten wir erwartet, Wir hatten allerdings in der Woche meist schlechtes Wetter und trotz guter Heizleistung der Klimananlagen war es in der Küche etwas zugig.“

„Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) hatten zwei tolle Wochen in Tokyo. Unsere Gastgeber (Australier) haben uns ein umfängliches Willkommenspaket gesendet, dass mit allen nützlichen Tipps versehen war. Wir wurden vor Ort empfangen und haben eine kurze Einweisung für das Haus und die Umgebung bekommen. Das war toll, da wir uns unauffällig in die Nachbarschaft eingliedern wollten und hoffentlich auch haben. Die Anbindung zur Metro war mit nur 4 Stationen zu Shinjuke perfekt. „Excellent location! Right next to a river that had cherry blossoms sprouting when we arrived. A convenience store wasnt too far. Was traveling with a group of 5 so this house was more than enough space! The host was amazing and communicated effectively! “

„The photos on this listing are not up to date, which surprised us when we walked in. The cleaner was also still present and left the sink and shower drains dirty. However, Memo was super easy to communicate with and brought a cleaner back to fix the drains. Once we got over the difference with the pictures, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The central location was amazing and we had enough room for several more people. “

„We enjoyed our stay at the Kamei House! Communication was excellent. We were granted access to the house with a phone app to control the lock which was a handy and easy way to check in. The house was located with easy access to two train stations depending on route. There was plenty of space for our group of six and we had a great time exploring Tokyo from this convenient location!“
