We absolutely loved our stay at the LoneStarRetreat! The house is just as advertised. The bedrooms have generous and lush bedding, the living room has a large comfy sectional, and there are plenty of throw blankets and seating all through the house. The decor is charming and tasteful and the bathrooms were impeccably clean! The bathrooms were equipped with shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers so that was an added bonus to have one less toiletry to pack. The kitchen is charming with enough necessary cooking utensils to put a meal together and a very generous spice cabinet! The game room was a hit with our teenagers! There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and laundry room. Every room except the dining room and kitchen has a TV and there are some board games and books guests can enjoy! The owners respond very quickly to questions!The pool was well maintained and clean! Backyard highlights: 1)The hot tub was clean, comfortable, and heated up quickly. We had 7 people in it and it was a snug but we all fit! 2)There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the backyard space. 3)Good ambiance with the string lights and fire pit. 4)Lounge chairs for sun bathing 5)Large outdoor table for dinning outside 6)Games like corn hole, connect four, and darts in the backyard and garage!When renting, we look for cleanliness, safe location, a pool, games, and comfortable bedding. This house hits the mark and more. We will stay here again on our next visit to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area!
