Very clean and spacious!

Very convenient area. Just outside of Dallas. A quiet and friendly neighborhood. I was not expecting it to be as spacious as it was. Privacy fence in the back yard was a huge plus with small children.

Best staycation ever!

Mere words along can't express the fantastic weekend we had celebrating our early Thanksgiving dinner with family from Louisiana. The house is so spacious and the 12 guest had their own personal sleeping space as well as lots of comfortable seating and space for entertainment, playing games, eating etc.. My family and I are already checking our schedules so that we can book it again in the spring of 2024. Having the two covered parking spaces in the back was incredible! Not only did we enjoy and take full advantage of the inside we also enjoyed spending time on the deck/ lanai which is also spacious with tables chairs and a barbeque grill. We were blessed to find this location.My family had nothing but positive remarks about it and didn't want to leave 🙂! Blessings and thanks to the host of this property!!

Omg this house has so much space in it. It was very clean & neat. My family & I enjoyed our stay at this house & would rent again if we every return to Garland. Had an incident were my sister was half way home an realize she left her purse. The host was so amazing with communication. The Pictures did sever it Justice home was perfect for my family the kids enjoyed the space kitchen was amazing . Only issue was the grill but I was able to adjust with no problem at all.

Love the house

This house was everything we needed. Had to make a last minute change and was able to book this home. The rooms were very spacious and the dual living areas gave everyone enough space to do their own thing or be by themselves. There was a total of 9 of us staying here. The owners were very nice and helpful and responds to messages in a timely fashion. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

A Much Needed Blessing

This house perfectly fit our needs. Our youth group needed a safe place to rest, connect, and regroup during a week of national competition activities. We found this place...considerably cheaper than everything else we had seen. We loved it! Clean...easy to get to...management/owners communicate well and the house was exactly as described. We were very pleased.

The house has a lot of space and offers a lot for it's cheap price. I am happy with the location in proximity to interstates and shopping. The only real negative was that the house is falling apart and was not safe for our toddler to run and play.

You get what you pay for

Make sure to look at images of Garland, TX before booking. There were roaches in the home. The house was put together well. The area was not the best. Spend more money to stay in a decent house . We ended up staying at a hotel.

Beyond Dissapointing

I have never left a bad review on HomeAway until today. I thought I read the reviews before renting this home and went back and read them again today and now asking myself did no one rent this unit in the last 6 months or leave a review because I am only reading positive reviews. When we first pulled into the driveway the area gave me some real concern and not only with me but also my guest who was asking from the start is it safe here. In the end even though concerned we had no problems. When trying to enter the home the screen door was jammed and each time going in and out the door took some force to open because it is defective. The handled also is ready to fall off. Once entering the home it had a bad musty smell and we had to go to the store and buy freshener to aid in the smell. It was raining that day and night and the musty smell made sense because the roof was leaking bad over the back kitchen counter. Woke up the next morning and the sofa in the living room was completely soaked where the rook leaked on it all night long. Thank goodness the back living room was there. As far as cleanliness the glass table top in the living room must not have been cleaned in a long time. It had a greasy glass film on it and the same in the back living room. The baseboards in the house has not been cleaned off in a long time. Dirty in all corners. Kitchen cabinet loose and ready to fall off. Don't know why we pay a cleaning charge because it lacked a good cleaning. The whole house could use just a simple paint job to clean it up. The ceiling in the back rear bedroom looked like it had been leaking and pealing but it did not leak while we were there. Kitchen and living room was a different story as the leaked bad. One of our guest refused to sleep in the back bedroom afraid it would leak in the middle of the night. All of our guest had to shower in the master bathroom as the second bathroom the tub looked like it had mold or just nasty and no one would use it. I have pictures to back up everything I have stated and I would not recommend this home until it goes through the roof being fixed. check the ceiling to make sure mold is not in it with all the water coming through it. Especially with the heavy musty smell it has shows a problem. The whole home completely cleaned. Just simply make it safe as far as possible health issues to stay in. This as I said is the first negative review I have given and it is just to do so on this home.

Much larger home than you would think. Sleeps lots of people. Two living areas. Clean and well stocked. Flat screen TVs and cable in almost every room. Great WIFI. Nice big dining table. Quiet neighbors. Driveway parking. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it is an older house in an older neighborhood where everyone seems to park on the street. But it is a fantastic value for the money. I recommend it!!

Excellent Stay!

This house is just perfect for large groups. It smells amazing and it's very, very clean. Initially it was four women and three young girls. We came down for my little cousin's birthday. After the celebration both he and his little sister came back to this rental with us and there was still enough space for them. They each had their own bed and there was still an extra unused bed. The kids all had a great time. There were many games for guests to enjoy and the backyard was just perfect for running around. Everyone had enough space without being on top of each other. The goodies on the table were a nice treat and the pantry was stocked with tea and coffee and spices and little essentials that came in handy. The bathrooms were overflowing with towels and washcloths which was a relief, seeing that we were such a large group. They even had soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are ceiling fans all over the house so it's always nice and cool. The hosts are very communicative so it was quite easy dealing with them. We will definitely stay there again when we next visit our little cousins. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us. (The decor is quite lovely).

Very Comfortable

Roomy and has everything you need. Great price for a large group. Older home that is in good shape. I saw other comments about the neighborhood looking shady, but we used to live not to far from there for 15 years, and it is mostly families and older folks.. I never had any problems in the area.

At first i was a little concerned with the neighborhood. But it was peaceful and pleasant. The house was very nice inside. The owners really do try to make sure everything is good. There was spices Nd coffee. The coffee pot could be bigger but the nack porch was wonderful. We spent alot of time out there laughing and builing lifetime memories. I would stay at thos lov5ation again. Never any hot water problems with a large group thats always a challenge. Way better then a hotel and plenty of comfy places to sleep. Thanks for lending us ur home for our memories
