* Kitchen Essentials: Equipped with dishes, silverware, cookware, coffee pots, (drip type & Keurig), slow cooker, toaster, blender, mixer, microwave and basic spices.

* Outdoor Comfort: Plenty of comfortable chairs for outdoor seating are provided so you can lounge comfortably on the deck or by the water when weather permits.

* Charcoal Grill: Conveniently located on the premises right as you enter the cottage, perfect for cooking up your fresh catch (guests bring their own charcoal/lighter fluid).

Nestled in the quiet, scenic crabbing community of Chance, you are surrounded by the natural beauty of Somerset County:

* Boating & Water Access: Located just minutes from the public boat ramps and marinas of Deal Island, making it easy to launch your vessel onto the Chesapeake Bay, so bring your boat, kayak, and/or canoe.

* Outdoor Recreation: Explore nearby Deal Island Beach, local wildlife management areas, and abundant waterfowl birdwatching grounds—which are especially spectacular during late fall and winter migrations.

Be sure to bring your food and drinks as there is currently no stores on the island. You are about a 15 minute drive to Princess Anne, where you will find a grocery store, liquor store, and convenience stores.

The property is sprayed weekly, during the spring/summer, by the county for flies/mosquitos/gnats.
