Girls Weekend

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Peace on Birch! The property was well maintained and had lots of very thoughtful additions. Beds were very comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. Hot tub and screened porch were our favorite parts! We appreciated the quiet and serene location- will definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect!

My husband and I had the best time celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary here! We had everything we needed and more, the house was so clean and cozy, and we loved our time spent on the screened porch (with the fire pit burning) watching all the deer play. We would love to come back someday. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed so far. We loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave.

This cabin was the perfect space and location for our group. The cleanliness of this home was 10/10. The home was equipped with everything you needed from enough towels, blankets, kitchen supplies and more. The screened in porch made with seating, a fire pit and hot tub was made this the ultimate experience so relaxing and cozy. The location was perfect! We were walking distance from the club house and playground area for the kids to play. Check-in and check-our directions were super simple and easy. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Great mountain retreat

This weekend was my second time staying at peace on Birch. I always have a great time at this lovely cabin. It is always well-stocked with amenities and I greatly appreciate the quality of the bedding and towels. I appreciate the fluffy towels and robes for the hot tub. Powderhorn Mountain is a community that is quiet and family oriented to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Our 15 year old video game obsessed son says this is his favorite place he’s ever stayed, and one day here will show you why. Hiking trails are everywhere. You’re a short drive from downtown Boone. Deer and turkeys will wonder through your yard. Cook your own meals in the kitchen that’s nicer than the one we have at home. Play board games into the night, or swim at the clubhouse, or fly fish in the creek. This place is fantastic, and my crew cannot wait to come back!

How responsible and helpful the management team was! The house was spotless but the only thing missing it says full stocked coffee bar which we thought included coffee but it did not. The outdoor patio was our favorite and the hot tub was very clean. We also really appreciate the quality of the sheets on the bed.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The host has absolutely thought about everything to make this home the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils, the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of towels and the living rooms were cozy with plenty of soft blankets to cuddle with. We loved the hot tub and screened in porch. The community was very beautiful and the neighbors were friendly. The lake was stunning and we even caught some fish! We would definitely stay here again.

This house is so nice and exactly how it is described! The screened in porch with the fire pit and hot tub were perfect. The property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property, and we will be back soon!

Peace on Birch is Absolutely Peaceful

Reviewer Comments: We selected Peace on Birch for a Thanksgiving in the mountains with a side trip to watch our college team play Appalachian State in Boone. It was a delightful stay. The kitchen is well equipped even though we brought a few extra pans for our large Thanksgiving meal. The Christmas decor in the home was a nice touch. While we had some challenges during our stay, the pros definitely outweighed the cons and Susan quickly addressed any issues we had when contacted. Everything in the cabin is well labeled and the information is plentiful. We did see a few deer and while we didn't explore much of the surrounding resort property we did see several people out walking about. If we return to the area, we would definitely consider staying again.
