„Ich war für 6 Nächte dort. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich und ruhig, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb von 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. In Norwich ist man in ca. 20 Minuten. Das Personal ist sehr sehr nett und stets bemüht, einem den Aufenthalt zu verschönern. Das Frühstück ist erstklassig und wird frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind außerdem sehr gemütlich, ländlich eingerichtet und qualitativ hochwertig. Ich kann dieses Hotel/Pub sehr empfehlen.“

„This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine ...

„The property is in a small village. Pub next door , but otherwise its a peaceful , quiet area. Wells next to sea is about a 5min drive away. My room was nice, it had a kettle, iron,Ironing board, bathroom was clean and shower hot. The beds were good and the room was clean. There is some parking on site. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed my stay here.“
