July 4th Vacation

This property was amazing! This was our second time in three years staying in this Condo building for the week of July 4th. Our family loves the ability to walk right out of the condo and on to the beach. The condo is clean, spacious and has everything you need for an amazing vacation!

Beautiful!

Property was just as described. Updates are beautiful! We were notified that we could check in at 1:00, which was excellent!!! Property managers immediately checked in with us, and continued to check on us throughout our stay! Aquilla was professional and friendly! We LOVE this property and plan to rent again!!!

Home away from home!

Great property, direct and easy access to the beach. Beachfront view. Plenty of space and bedrooms for my family. So many things to do in Destin, you will never be bored. Great customer service, the host, Terri called and texted to check on us and to see if we needed anything throughout our stay, very helpful!

Amazing Direct Beach View from Balcony and Master Bedroom!!

AMAZING direct views from living room condo balcony and master bedroom, 3-bedrooms decorated beautifully. Updated kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and fully remodeled! Clean with all the amenities needed (washer/dryer/fridge n ice/stove/dishwasher). We felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a restful weekend! We will be back!!

Exceeded Expectations

I want to begin by saying this condo was immaculately clean and the maintenance was on point. Everything works and is where it should be. The ocean view was perfect from the 4th floor. We had an amazing trip visiting with our family. One of my favorite parts about the condo was waking up to a view of the ocean from the master bedroom. The master bathroom is spacious and very nice! One thing that really struck me is the condo had everything we needed. We cooked and grilled a few meals and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool is very clean and nicer than it looks in the pictures. The beach in front of the condo is actually private although and wasn’t crowded while we were there and absolutely gorgeous as usual. The elevator is a little slow, but it worked well. The only thing I would ask for in the future is few more bath towels per person. We only had 6 for six for six people so lots of washing, but the washer and dryer and all the appliances are new and all work well!. I would rent this same condo again!! Thank you!

Nice condo for family

The condo was very clean and supplied with everything we needed. I didn’t care for the small pool being in the front parking lot, but the protected dunes in the back of the condo building prevent it being behind the building. The pool was clean. Beach wasn’t overly crowded since the building is smaller. Interaction with property manager was great. I’d stay here again.

Beautiful rest

Our beautiful condo in Emerald Dunes was so beautifully decorated and appointed. Supplied kitchen made it fun to have some meals there. Quiet! easy access to beach and pool. Television requires accounts and passwords which we did not know. All in all - a beautiful stay.

Great stay

The location of this condo is amazing, it's right at the beach. The beach is a private beach from 9-5 every day which makes it much less crowded. The condo itself was clean upon check in and the check in/out process was simple and fast. Overall our stay was good and dealing with the Sugar Palm rentals team was pleasant and efficient.

Life”s a beach on a private beach

Amazing!

From beginning to end, this experience was phenomenal! The condo was very clean. The views were breathtaking. The private beach and limited number of condos created a very relaxing, uncrowded environment. The management company personally reached out to ensure all was well. Fantastic customer service! This was our second stay at Emerald Dunes, and we will not be staying anywhere else when we vacation in Destin!

Such a great place to stay! We had two adults and two kids. This was beyond the perfect spot. I loved being so close to the coffee shop and access to walk everywhere. The kids loved being so close to the beach. Thank you for everything!

This property checked all the boxes for our family vacation. Three comfy bedrooms…two spacious bathrooms (the primary bath remodel is GORGEOUS!)…balcony that comfortably fit all four of us watching the dolphins (and yes…it’s true…they are SO close!)…a well equipped kitchen to make breakfast and coffee before heading out on our adventures (bring your own filters tho). The management staff was very responsive…the ice maker wasn’t working during our stay so they dropped off a bag of ice each day which was awesome. The property is so close to restaurants and cafes we rarely went more than a mile for dinner each night. My family is already telling me they want to go back to Destin (it was COLD and not a beach week) and don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Amazing Views-Private Beach

Hosts we’re incredible communicative from start to finish. Checking on me to ensure there weren’t any issues. The unit was incredible clean and had everything I needed while I was there. Location is near a lot of restaurants and the private beach with white sand can’t be beat. I watched the sunrise and set every day. Highly recommend staying here.

The condo itself was clean and pleasant. We were able to get in a little early so that helped us a lot! The only thing I would say is that the master bath needs updating and the furniture in the bunk bed room needs to be replaced. Overall a good rental.

Not as nice as pictures depict

The location of this condo is perfect but that's where the positive review ends. It is very worn and pictures do not accurately depict the condition. The walls were stained, there was mold mildew all over the shower, and furniture is worn. There was sand all over the floor when we arrived so I needed to vacuum upon arrival. This was our first negative VRBO experience after many stays.. We would not stay at this location again. There are many nicer places to stay in Destin.

The condo has a great view but the amenities are below average at best. The last condo we stayed at in Destin was cheaper and had a ton of amenities (beach chairs included, tons of stuff for the kids, beach towels & much more). I felt like this place tried to nickel & dime us to death.

Great location

The Condo was perfect for our stay. 4th balcony allowed great view of the beach and gulf. It was great sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening listening to the waves. A tropical storm went up the coast of Fl and we could watch the effects from the balcony. Luckily, Destin did not receive much rain or wind. The condo had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. There’s an elevator to get to the 4th floor. The parking lot and beach access are very secure

Gem by the Sea

This is a beautiful condo and the location is fabulous. It is a small complex on Crystal beach. The condo had plenty of room for a family of 4 with 2 older teens. It is beautiful and clean and very comfortable. You have an amazing view of the beach from the balcony and the master bedroom. The beach is beautiful and it is a private beach so you don't have to fight anyone for beach front seating. The chair service and horseshoe concept was a bit odd but it was really nice to have that private stretch of beach. We saw 2 weddings and multiple familly photo shoots on the beach right in front of the condo which shows how gorgeous that area is. The condo is very conveniently located near groceries and restaurants so anything you need is very close. The area is really nice with great beach houses and condos all around. I would highly recommend and we would definitely come back again. You just can't beat that amazing beach!
