  • You’ll feel right at home in condo 503. It has been renovated with modern furniture, décor, and wood plank ceramic tiles throughout the entire condo, including the balcony! This spacious 2BR/2BA beachfront condo has direct ocean front views with no obstructions and is at the optimum height, not too high and not too low, as it is on the 5th floor of Destin Gulfgate. The living room features contemporary furniture with a queen size memory foam sofa bed, and a 60-inch flat screen smart tv with blue ray player. The dining area next to the kitchen has a large dining table for 6 and a bar counter with 3 large bar stools. The kitchen has been updated with shaker cabinets, granite counter tops, all stainless-steel appliances, and has a full size under counter ice maker. The unit also features a full-size washer and dryer. The master bedroom features an upscale dresser, nightstands, and headboard along with a premium king size mattress and 55-inch flat screen smart tv with blue ray player. In addition, the master bedroom has a direct ocean front view with direct balcony access making for a very comfortable stay. And for added comfort the attached master bathroom is newly renovated with a custom walk-in stone and pebble shower and quartz countertop with a sit-down makeup vanity area, large mirror, and linen closet. The guest bedroom features 2 queen size beds with headboards, premium mattresses, chest, and 47-inch flat screen tv with DVD player. The guest bath has a granite countertop with large mirror, a tub bath, and linen closet. The large oversized balcony features all wood plank ceramic tiles with new high-end outdoor furniture including a table with 4 elevated chairs and 2 chaise lounge chairs for laying back and relaxing while you’re soaking up the sun and beautiful gulf views! This unit offers free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.)

My stayed was wonderful. the condo is just as the pictures but better. Great customer service. its closed to everything. my kiddos really enjoyed the pool will definitely book again.

Summertime

First trip to Destin. All accommodations on the property were enjoyable. Staff was super nice and helpful. Great view from the condo. Condo had everything we needed for our stay, no complaints. Private beach was stellar, chairs were setup and ready for us everyday on arrival. We setup volleyball and had plenty of room to play and enjoy. They hosted a social with complementary beverages during the week we were there which was cool. Will come again!

Wonderful Trip

I have been to the panhandle many times since I live in Marietta GA. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law moved here from California. I was excited to have them experience the beauty of the Destin area. It did NOT disappoint.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was very nice. Super clean. Workers very friendly. Our only complaint was mainly the elevator. One wasn’t working and the other one seemed to be tied up for several minutes thru out the day. They were replacing hot water tanks and the workers tied them up. I think they could have had their workers move tanks during off hours! Makes more sense since one elevator was out of use. Also we had 2 days where we had to make plans to be gone because of hotwater tanks replacement. We were never told ahead of time that we would be replacing them until we got there ! I think we got a text the day before it was gonna happen!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 4 nights and were not able to use the outdoor balcony because the railings were too wide. They are not up to code and our toddler (1.5) and our 4 year old could fit through the railings. They know the railings are not up to code and have not fixed it. I would not recommend this condo if you are traveling with small children. You won't be able to relax if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view.

The living room upholstered furniture is showing wear and stained though the color choices were up to date. The deck furniture was not comfortable for 4 adults. The 4 older adults staying preferred regular chairs vs pub height chairs. The view and convenience cannot be beat! The updated fitness center, pool and chair setup is impeccable, staff super helpful, elevators ran well, the cleanliness of the facility, safety, and maintenance so appreciated. We appreciate the friendliness of the residents and renters every time we stay at Gulfgate too.

King bed was very comfortable. The two queens were a little hard for my taste but my daughter slept great. Living room was comfortable. But the highlight for me was the balcony and the view. Beyond wonderful, be it full sun or stormy. I never got tired of it. You don't need to actually go to the beach because you feel you are there(only being 5 floors up). So close to the water's edge and the sound of the Gulf is so soothing. Property is centrally located, short drive to a lot of Destin destinations. Would highly recommend to everyone.

The views from the balcony were incredible when you weren't on the beach soaking up the sun or relaxing under the umbrellas. Having a full kitchen gave us the option to eat in when we wanted. Parking at the property was easy and there are tons of great restaurants in close proximity so eating out was easy as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Ideal location on beach, you can walk to the Back Porch, a Destin Legend for delicious seafood. Our unit was very clean, recently updated. The balcony is huge, spent a lot of time out there! Pool was spotless and heated. You are literally on the most beautiful beach in the world. I love that you don’t have to walk thru acres of other buildings to get to the beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some issues. My wife is disabled. We had inquired about walk-in shower but failed to ask about beds. The master BR bed was too high for her to access. We notified the desk and they swapped rooms. The new room had a lower bed that my wife could access. The master BR had no grab bars to assist use. During our stay a commode broke and the staff promptly installed a replacement. The staff was great in working with us. We learned to ask more questions concerning disability access. We had never encountered the bef heighth problem previously.
