We were contacted by Michael the evening before our arrival that the home had maintenance issues in the guest house and offered us another home. He assured us we would be satisfied. YES, we were. The house exceeded my expectations and needs. Direct beach access. The back yard was amazing. The hosts are 10/10. The property was wellMaintained and my 50th Birthday week was one I will never forget. Thank you for such a lovely property. We will rent again from them and refer anyone heading to Destin

Another Wonderful Stay at Crystal Breeze!This was our third time staying at Crystal Breeze in Destin, and once again it didn’t disappoint! The house is perfect for our family — spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. We had such a great time making new memories together.A tip for future guests: make sure to use the discounted beach services through the Host to get umbrella placements close to the house — it’s money well spent and makes the beach days even better.All in all, another fantastic trip. We can’t wait to come back again!

Perfect Vacation

We had everything we needed at this property and it was so convenient to get to and from the beach. The pool was great for the kids and they loved the hot tub too. My family has already decided we will be back. It was so perfect!

Spacious, but needs some TLC

This property has a lot to offer by way of ample rooms, fun game room, and a nice pool area, but the place could use some TLC. The sofas were worn out, dining table chairs were broken, the outlets in most bedrooms are stripped, with fewer bathrooms mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful, the ice maker would not produce enough ice for a single meal, and the WiFi was weak. The pool basketball goal was about to fall apart. The extra fridge/freezer was nice and the pool house sleeping quarters were peaceful. The ceiling showed signs of a leaky roof with black spots that had to be painted while we were there. 4 people in our group developed a cough, congestion, and fever by day 5, which we can only hope was unrelated. Plenty of towels, TP, and beach chairs provided. This could be a great place with some attention.

Family Vacation

Our stay was nice. We expected a little more based on the pictures provided when we were searching on VRBO. The house and contents were a little more run down in person than what showed through in pictures. Pool was way smaller in person, do not expect to use any kind of float in it. Communication was good with renters; offered the beach chairs/rentals and then the golf cart rentals within a nice timeframe. AC did not seem to work correctly, but was addressed quickly (although I don’t think much was done because the air still stayed the same). However there were a couple of incidences where people dropped by to do certain things to the house that we weren’t expecting; bug people, two men showed up to measure for gutters, pool people.. not a super big deal but when we’re in the small pool area and look up to see strange men walking around it gave us a start. All in all it wasn’t a terrible place and our family liked our stay!

Fantastic location

This house has plenty of room for a large family. The theatre room added a huge space for entertainment. The beach access is across the street which was perfect for the little ones. The owner immediately responds to any issues you may have with the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Extended Family Spring Break

We had a great time at Crystal Breeze over spring break! The property was as advertised; it was clean, well appointed, and right across the street from the beach. I definitely recommend heating the pool in early April - it worked so well for us! The property owners were great to work with and had clear lines of communication. We had a minor maintenance issue and someone was out within 24 hours to fix it. We had 15 people ages 3-73, and we felt like the layout of the house worked well for us. Also, if you have small kids, the doors leading out to the pool are self closing and the door handles are at adult eye level, which made me feel much better about pool safety. There are also chains on the doors to help keep your kids inside, even if they can unlock doors. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home Away From Home

Definitely would recommend staying at this home. We were a family of 3 generations and we all loved this house. So close too so many things to do, see and eat. Huge plus’s that you literally only have to walk out the front door cross the street and go down a set of steps to be right on the beach.

Great location & great amenities

The home has a lot to do - pool, movie theatre, air hockey, ping pong, basketball hoop, beach access so close! We loved the layout and carriage house. However, the twin beds upstairs in closet are not usable for anyone over 5 years old and the house is very “worn in”. Lots of little things needed fixed - they were responsive but the house is worn in.

Couldn’t have a better location!! 3 minute walk to the beautiful prestine beach. Heated swimming pool and a game room that has not left anything out… a teenagers dream room. We had 18 people age 3-77 including 5 teenagers and the spaciousness was awesome to accommodate so many. Best family reunion ever!! Owner and managers were responsive and attentive to all of our needs. The golf cart was a great addition to transport so many along with a rental suburban. There is plenty to do in the area to keep everyone entertained !! We will return

Great location but needs some TLC

The location to the beach and access to shopping is fantastic. We had a great time with family and felt there was plenty of room for 15 people. The game/media room was great for adults and kids. We were surprised to find that there was only one set of washers/dryers because the listing said two when we booked (it has since been updated online). There are definitely some minor maintenance issues that should be addressed and the kitchen could use a few more cooking items, but we were still able to enjoy our vacation. Communication with the company was great, and we enjoyed our stay overall.

Amazing stay and responsiveness

This house was perfect for us! We’ve rented 5 houses in Destin and this is the first one we would consider returning to. In addition to the house having all the great things shown in the pictures, the kitchen is very well stocked and since we only ate out once, that was very important to us. Our granddaughter was with us and we noticed when she was crawling she was getting very dirty. I reached out and the next morning they came and mopped the whole main level for us! There was some damage we noticed that might be from previous rain and when I let Michael know, he sent someone over immediately to take a look and fix the problem. We also paid for heating the pool but being the last week of September, it wasn’t really needed and Michael and Freya communicated with us that they wanted us to test it out and if we decided it wasn’t necessary they would be happy to refund us! Every step of the way, they were responsive, attentive, checked in on us during the week and handled every situation with great integrity! Lots of great memories were made on this trip!!

Destin's Finest

Check in: The easiest process. Although the pass code is long it was super easy to remember. You cannot get in early via the code the door starts working at 4 pm no sooner or later. The house itself is beautiful. There are somethings that need a little TLC - cabinets and maybe landscaping but other than that I have 0 complaints. We rented a gold cart for the week which you can take just about anywhere. The location is perfect. Lastly, the bunk closet. Don't account this as somewhere to sleep for adults, this is a perfect spot for young children.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful family vacation! Our group included 7 adults, 2 children and an infant. We LOVED: - The size of the house! We all fit at the table, around the couch, plenty of living space. (It would be snug with 20!) - The proximity to the beach... it was so convenient. - The garage game room (although it was HOT) - Communication with the owners before and during our trip was fantastic! I was well informed! We WISH: - There was outside seating area for the full group. There are lots of smaller areas to sit, but not conducive to the full group. - The house needed some refreshing, just small things. It certainly didn't ruin our vacation, nor did we ask for them to be repaired, but for the price we expected a bit more attention to detail. - While the size of the kitchen was so nice, we desperately wanted a frying pan that didn't stick and a knife that cut. If you plan on cooking, bring some stuff from home. Overall, this was a great house for a family vacation! We made memories that will last forever.

Amazing vacation

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely perfect!!! Awesome location and the game room was a great addition for the young adults!! I highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!! Freya was a pleasure to work with as well!
