  • Islander Condo # 207 ist eine East View, Platinum Unit, die Platz für bis zu 6 Personen bietet. Betreten Sie unser tropisches Paradies und genießen Sie die günstige Lage, um schnell und einfach den Strand oder zwei Pools Ihrer Wahl zu erreichen.

    Die Küche wurde mit neuen Schränken, Arbeitsplatten aus Granit und Geräten aus Edelstahl ausgestattet und ist mit allen Werkzeugen ausgestattet, die Sie zum Kochen benötigen. Machen Sie es sich am neuen Esstisch mit 6 Plätzen gemütlich oder entspannen Sie im Wohnbereich mit aktualisierten Möbeln und schauen Sie sich den 40-Zoll-Fernseher mit Blue Ray-Player und digitalem Kabelanschluss an. Es gibt ein Queen-Schlafsofa für die Gäste.

    Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über neue Möbel mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem 32-Zoll-Fernseher. Das Badezimmer verfügt über einen neuen aktualisierten Waschtisch mit Doppelwaschbecken und Granitoberflächen sowie eine ebenerdige Dusche. Das Gästezimmer verfügt über 2 neue Einzelbetten und einen 32-Zoll-Fernseher mit DVD-Player. Das Gästebad wurde mit einem neuen Waschtisch und Granit aktualisiert.

First time to Destin

This was our first time in Destin. The property was in a great location, with east access to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment. The unit was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of four. You can see the water from the balcony, but being on the second floor it is not high enough to get the full view. Other than that it was a great place to stay a few days.

Our room was so comfortable and decorated so pretty. We were disappointed with the elevator breaking a lot while we were there. We were glad to be on the second floor since it was so busy and one or both elevators stopped working during our stay. We also did not like that there was no hose to rinse the sand off closer to the dock or at the pool just a shower. Other than that it was very nice! We loved Allen , he was so helpful and pulled my wagon through the sand for me which was very nice!!

Islander Unit 207 Review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay at the Islander Resort. Reservation made easily. Check in went smoothly. Welcomed enthusiastically after a long day on the road. Unit appeared acceptable and as described. The unit was completely adequate for our stay but the floor made our bare feet and socks turn black so it obviously wasn’t clean. We wanted the Florida experience of being able to go barefoot while on vacation but instead had to wear shoes indoors which was a disappointment. The living room rug is also filthy. It’s visibly dirty showing clean only under the coffee table. The color of the rug is bad due to it being so dirty. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed (I appreciated the teapot) but the toaster should be thrown away. It is filthy inside brown & crusty with food particles all stuck to the heating elements. This was way more than just the crumbs you might expect. Also when the AC ran, a nasty small like urine was present. It disappeared when the AC shut off. We could not detect the urine odor on any surface, even the filthy rug did not give off an odor. The striped upholstered chair in living room is very broken down in the seat and needs replacing. It made my back hurt to sit in it. The sofa and other chair are not much better. Please replace them. The Unit needs a deeper cleaning and some TLC to make it top notch. The mattress on the king size bed was great. There were ample towels and the kitchen was very clean except the toaster. The second bath was clean but quite small, and the sliding shower doors are no good for taking a bath. This seems like a well managed property but this unit needs some attention. McGuires Pub is a great dinner choice with entertainment and Merlins Pizza was delicious. We enjoyed the many beaches nearby and the property’s private beach, although small and somewhat crowded. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Islander before and love the location. Our unit was very nice and had some nice upgrades. I wouldn’t complain about the stay at all. Some areas of attention in my mind are updating the door knobs, the shower head in the master, the closet doors, the refrigerator, and updating the smart TVs to work with current technology. I would definitely stay at this unit again. The included beach service is a major plus.
