« Last minute weekend to discover Detroit. I loved this boutique hotel and suits perfectly the spirit of Detroit. The hotel was a former firehouse and has been very nicely redone. Friendly staff and good vibes. The restaurant's evening menu wants to be creative, so it took me a while to find a compromising choice. « Service from hotel front desk was excellent. Service at the restaurant was acceptable but could have been better. Also, for one of the nicest suites on the property I hoped for better amenities such as maybe facial wipes or liquid soap rather than the standard bar soaps. We couldn’t even use the shower gel in the soaking tub since it was mounted tightly to the wall in the shower. We wish the kitchen would have included a microwave and silverware. And there were fruit flies in the kitchen. But...
