Situated on the border between Dordogne and Lot et Garonne, Le Brame’s location allows easy exploration of the towns, chȃteaux and landscapes that these two stunning regions offer. Within a 10 to 15 minute drive there are three lovely bastide towns, Villeréal, Monpazier and Monflanquin, to explore, as well as the Chȃteau de Biron which during the summer hosts concerts and light shows. Standing proudly atop a hill, this impressive castle can be seen from the terrace at Le Brame.
Families with children will enjoy the outdoor facilities at Le Brame, which include table tennis, table football, a pétanque area and children’s swings and slide. Surrounding the pool is a large terrace, alongside a covered dining terrace. The villa itself sits adjacent to this area. Running the length of the property, the living room and kitchen/diner overlook the fields and woodland to the rear, with French doors opening out onto the covered terrace which is a lovely spot for a morning coffee or evening aperitif. Three bedrooms and a large bathroom complete the accommodation.

Villeréal is the closest town for essential amenities and restaurants. At its centre is a beautiful 14th Century market hall where a weekly food market (Saturday) takes place in between the huge oak posts. It is also the setting for Monday evening markets during the summer and a brocante fair every second Sunday. Whatever market you visit (both in Villeréal and surrounding local towns), they are always an enjoyable experience: an opportunity to see local life and try the food of the region. One of the ‘must try’ delicacies is the honey produced by the owner of Le Brame, who is a renowned and award-winning beekeeper in the area.

The owners of Le Brame live next door with their own independent entrance/driveway. They do not use any of the facilities at Le Brame and your privacy is assured.
