« Nous sommes un peu déçus… l’hôtel est en fait attenant au manoir et non dans le manoir. Nos chambres n’étaient pas très propres (draps salis, rideaux déchirés, trace de nourriture présente sur la moquette) mais spacieux (les enfants avaient leur propre chambre attenante). La piscine est un peu vieillotte. Le personnel est discret, poli mais un peu trop détaché des besoins des clients. »

Il y a très peu d'options pour déjeuner et dîner aux alentours, et sans pouvoir se déplacer en voiture, les repas sont très répétitifs mais aussi chers. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de service de restauration sur place ou, au moins, un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre. « I've stayed here several times and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The rooms clean and the internet works. Parking is in the supermarket car park and there isn't a breakfast option in the hotel but there are plenty of shops and cafes nearby. »

« This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. « Sadly this property needs huge investment. The whole place is really tired. There was no on there to welcome us and they hadn’t sent us the door code so I had to phone twice before someone would pick up and then had to wait for the owner to arrive to let us in, not ideal after a long journey. We had a garden room - which had thread bare carpets with stains on, the most uncomfortable bed imaginable and it just felt dirty. I thought from the pictures this place looked ok, but I was very wrong...

« We stopped over here on our way from south Wales back to the north west of England. It was a great choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was excellent. We also had dinner and breakfast here and for each meal the food was excellent. The staff were great too. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. »
