« ⭐ Title: Great staff, but significant maintenance issues during our stay
I visited Dhaka for one week to visit my ill uncle and stayed at Hotel De Meridian. While the staff were friendly and helpful, our experience was unfortunately let down by several important facility issues.
The hotel is advertised as having fully working amenities, but during our stay:
• The lift was out of order for the entire duration. I have a lower back condition, and climbing to the 5th floor took a very long time...

« I've a bit of mixed experiences in this hotel. The hotel owner becomes a front desk manager during the day time and very helpful. The hotel location is in a excellent area which is very convenient to everywhere (walking distance).
The room is not good for westerns (everything is old), they transferred me to another room because of the A/C issue (A/C circuit blew out during my staying and thank god that it didn't catch fire). I wouldn't recommend westerners for staying in this hotel but local ppl...
