Absolut nicht zu Empfehlen
Das Zimmer war dreckig und es gab auch nach dem 3. Tag keinen Roomservice. Das Personal war pampig und unfreundlich, nachts lief der Trockner durch, am nächsten Tag das gleiche, daraufhin habe ich gebeten Ihn auszuschalten, die junge Dame sagte es wäre nicht möglich. Ich habe sie freundlich darauf hingewiesen das es halb 12 Uhr in der Nacht sei und 100 Euro für die Nacht bezahle. Sie ist vollkommen ausgerastet und hat beim ausschalten des Trockners, das Gerät fast vom Sockel geschuppst. Türen schmeißend ist sie in Ihrem Kabuff verschwunden. Das war mein schlimmster Aufenthalt den ich je hatte und wir Reisen sehr viel. Das Frühstück machte auch einen lustlosen Eindruck, woraufhin wir außerhalb gegessen haben. Nie wieder !!!!

Das Hotel kann mal was werden, wenn es denn fertig ist. Leider funktionierten die Heizungen nicht, es gab eine elektrische Heizung, die nicht regulierbar war. Das kontinentale Frühstück war einfach.

I am confused: Some things are good, Some things are bad. Bed bugs, i haven’t seen, bad vacuüm cleaning i have seen. Toilet reservoir took minutes to fill up again. Nice shower stuff, water hot/cold good, but Fungus on the kit edges is present. Also the rusted bathroom stuff i have seen: Why? Breakfast: problably a UK issue no cheese and/or ham present.

Staff very welcoming on arrival and at Breakfast. A good variety of cereal, pastries and toast for self service breakfast. The room was large and bed was comfy. Linen and fixtures are worn but it looks like the place is being renovated so hopefully this will be resolved.

The Inn was in need of cleaning and updating. The mattress was uncomfortable, the breakfast, as it was, was disappointing. The toaster looked as though it had not been cleaned in weeks. I never saw a fresh pot of coffee on, just what was leftover and cold. Very seldom was there a staff person visible.

Room wasn’t great. two single beds with the worst mattress i’ve ever slept on… think your childhood mattress if you went back to it now. Guy on the desk rang us ten mins before we got there in a huff because he was due back on in the morning (perhaps don’t set check in times so late and let guests find a decent place to stay instead) was friendly other than that and the bathroom was alright.

If like me you are imagining a nice cosy pub (due to it being called an "Inn,") then like me, you will be disappointed. It's more like a motel. That said, it was cheap and cheerful, basic but clean. Refreshments provided, but not hair dryer in the room. The chap who checked us in was friendly and cheerful. On site parking is available and walking distance to the pubs and shops.

Basic but clean
Hotel was well located, within walking distance of town. Free parking was good. Hotel was basic, but clean. Down side was the bed hadn't been turned since previous guest, so was sunk in the middle. Staff were unavailable at reception a lot of the time, and it said only to call for staff in an emergency. Possible this is due to COVID, like the lack of breakfast which was supposed to be included, so would give the benefit of the doubt.

I have been to the waverly a few times and it was good.This time was terrible it was dirty the sheets hadn't been changed the carpet wad dirty.In the mornig we couldnt have a showeras the watr wouldnt drain away. I love Dingwall but i dont think i will use the waverly

Clean, warm and very cheap!
Extremely good value in basic accommodation. The room was warm, spacious and - very convenient for me on crutches - on the ground floor. The receptionist/manager/general factotum Charlie could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was adequate if basic. Location - five minutes walk from the station and local eateries - was excellent. The bed was a bit soft, but I slept well even so. If you're looking for lots of character, little extras and a cooked breakfast this is not the place for you; but it can't be beaten for value and what my mother would call 'wholesomeness'!

Never before have I seen a housekeeper doing this.
I travel weekly and never before have I seen a housekeeper doing her washing and ironing in the reception - certainly you wouldn’t see that at a Holiday Inn - we arrived at 2:30pm, only to be told they only have 1 room for us despite booking 2 and even better room wasn’t ready as their check in time is 3pm but 2pm mentioned on booking website. We gazed about the lobby to see if there was a restaurant or a bar, all we could see was a few tables & chairs - this is at best 2 star accommodation, it looks like converted offices and outside is clearly not finished with flaking paint and tatty facade, first impression count and this certainly counted ! We didn’t even check in, we paid £99 and departed - this clearly is not a hotel, although called an inn, this is possibly a budget hostel.

Less than perfect or even finished!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. This COULD BE a lovely place however, my 'single' room was barely larger than the single twin bed and the room had been 'renovated' but many things were not complete (carpet not tacked down, paint not finished, stickers on bath fixtures, sawdust in windowsill, etc.). There was no place to hang or store clothing and no floor space so I had to foist my suitcases onto the bed to get to my things. There is NO elevator and I was put on the 2nd floor - my bags were heavy and there was no porter/bellman to help get them upstairs. WiFi in the room that was advertised was inaccessible and I had to sit in the 'lobby/dining room' to make phone calls and use my laptop. Often there was no one at the front desk, so you had to ring a bell at the desk and wait for someone to come as there was no phone in the room. What renovations WERE done were modern and nice, they just weren't finished. I wouldn't stay here again due to there not being an elevator and I cannot lift heavy items without injury and the poor WiFi connection.

Tja.
De inn heeft zeker potentie om een prima hotel te worden, maar dan moet er wel wat aan het personeelsbeleid gedaan worden. Meer en goed opgeleid personeel bijvoorbeeld. We moesten 25 minuten wachten voordat iemand van een ander hotel naar de receptie kwam. En ze was snel weer vertrokken zonder ons enige informatie te geven, zoals WiFi en ontbijttijden. Ook wist ze niet hoe ze koffie moest zetten bij het ontbijt. Het filter werd steeds opnieuw gebruikt. Na de 4e charge was het net water. En meerdere items waren op, zoals de sinaasappelsap.

Excellent rapport qualité prix
Nous avons reservé au Waverly Inn à la derniere minute, sur la route allant au nord des Highlands. En apparence l'établissement ressemble à un motel, au coeur du village de Dingwall. La chambre etait très confortable et propre. Bonus : petit déjeuner inclus, ce qui n’est pas forcement explicite sur le site de reservation. Par comparaison avec les autres établissements que nous avons fait au cours de notre voyage en Ecosse, c’est sans doute le meilleur rapport qualité prix ! Nous recommandons cet établissement !

V poor hotel
Terrible hotel more like a doss house. Very thin walls (lots of snoring) and not very clean. Worst thing was the electric unit in the rooms massive humming noise. I complained and they said all rooms had this. Avoid if you can.

Nice big room. Beds and bathroom were fine. WiFi in the room was inconsistent the first day and non-existent the second. Common area was dirty and the breakfast was poor - no protein -and barely restocked. Coffee was re-run thru the grounds 2x. Stained linens and trash on buffet from day 1 were still there day 2. And the tables were dirty.

Wi-Fi poor in the rooms which was not great for business users. Worth noting that it's a help yourself continental breakfast, no hot meals available, but we were aware of this prior to the stay.

Basic hotel but good for the money.
Travelled up to inverness short notice for a funeral so location was the most important thing. Waverley is quite basic but beds comfortable. Quiet location. Room very clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast very bland but nothing actually wrong with it. Only actual issue was there seemed to be quite a lot of ants crawling over the tablecloths! I would stay again.

Nice staff, food dissapointing
When we arrived we were greeted very pleasantly and then shown to our room. Shortly after we discovered an issue with the wifi and as they were unable to fix it we were given an upgrade and moved room. The room was pleasant but the milk at on the tea and coffee tray was off, I am amusing that was due to the fact that the room has not been used much. This room was a lot cleaner than the previous room and was generally nice to use. The food was something to be desired though, the bread was rotten in the morning, and there was not easy access to water for the kettle, there was a few option for choice but it doesn't help when the bread is moldy and some of the other bread options were stale and hard as a rock.
