« My husband and I are in our 70s and even though we only live two hours away from here, we wanted a full nature experience in a log cabin. The weather was hit and miss, but we drove around and saw wild horses, mountain goats, and lots of deer. The cabin was great. Very cosy with a nice soft, fluffy comforter on the bed. The kitchen has everything you need. The owner was very welcoming and easy to reach. He’s also very knowledgable about the area. It was a great getaway 10 out of 10. »

« This was really relaxing home base for a family reunion a few km away. The house has everything and was clean, and able to accommodate seniors with a main floor bedroom and room for the rest of our family. Wished we would of booked longer »

« We enjoyed our time. The cabin was perfect. Beds were great, kitchen a nice size, bathroom was lovely and the front veranda was absolutely amazing(my favoriteplace). The grainery gazebo firepit was also excellent. »

« Beautiful and quaint cabin at the lake. The house was stocked with everything needed in the kitchen as well as linens for the beds and bathroom. There were some toiletries which were wonderful as I had forgotten my shampoo and conditioner. This house is a great stay and the backyard was huge! The bbq was also super awesome to have, and it is a VERY nice bbq. »

« As noted check in was easy. It was clean and well labeled as to location of various kitchen items, but could not find extra blankets. Because our stay was short we had no need for the use of a washer/dryer, however I would expect that if my stay was longer and the machines were in the house I would expect to use them and not have to go to laundromat. »

« You cannot beat the location for one! The house is well thought out. So many extras from pots and pans to plenty of towels in the bathroom. Lots of space to move around from the living room and the kitchen. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan for hot evenings. Fully enclosed private backyard for my dog Duke. Lots of time spent on the back deck chatting with family and grilling hamburgers on the bar-b-que. It was pleasurable stay! »

« This A- frame cabin was clean, updated and included all the essentials our family needed for a fun vacation. My 3 and 5 year sons old loved the loft- it was like their special space. The house is steps away from the ice cream shop, beach and a playground.We had fun in the empty lot nearby playing soccer, bocce ball and frisbee. It’s a quiet street.We would definitely recommend to our friends and family and hope to visit again. »

« We found the house perfect for what we needed. We are a group of crafter/sewists and there was plenty of room for numerous tables. We like to cook our own meals and the kitchen was very well equipped and was roomy enough for a few people to work in. »

« Our group stayed for a weekend at the cabin for a surprise birthday party. The property was exactly as described. The cabin had plenty of room inside and out for our group. The host played along with the initial surprise which was most appreciated. The perfect place for a quiet and private retreat. I would return to this property for a group event again. »

« Myself and 3 girl friends stayed for 2 nights and it was fantastic. « We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated property over New Year's! The attention to detail throughout the home is evident, from the high-end appliances to the lovely cutlery and dishware. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't get enough of them—truly a peaceful and scenic setting. The owner was incredibly responsive, checking in on us daily to ensure everything was perfect. We did run into a minor issue with the temperature being a bit cool, but after...

« We stayed for a couple of days at the beginning of July and it was awesome. The place was clean and well stocked. The backyard and fire pit were awesome as was the super close proximity to The Wooden Shoe. Beds were comfy, shower was great, and communication with the host was awesome. They were very quick to answer any questions we had. My sons thoroughly enjoyed watching all the birds and deer! That visited. We will definitely be back! »
