„For us 4 anglers on the River Moy (Armstrong route) an ideal starting point. Short distances to our fishing route. On the whole we were also satisfied with the accommodation. Except for a few shortcomings that I would like to describe. We were particularly surprised at the unacceptable dirt that came out after the bed linen had been removed. All pillows were so dirt and blood stains that are not tolerable. The pan for the stove is so dirty (dirt burned in) and can no longer be used! The existing ...

„Very cosy place. Warm welcome by Chris, the owner. A nice place to return to. The Sligo area has so much to offer that we did not manage all we had been looking forward to. The nature around Sligo is stunning. We very much enjoyed our walks to Coney Island, the Devil’s Chimney or the hike to Queen Maeve‘s grave. Also the Strandhill people’s market at Sligo airport was lovely, with artist Tony Osborne‘s display of outstanding paintings. 5 stars for both Chris‘ cottage and the Sligo area“

„Der Kontakt mit Sheila war immer einfach und unkompliziert. Das Haus selbst liegt ziemlich einsam an einer winzigen Straße zum Meer. Bei Gegenverkehr ist das schon recht abenteuerlich. Es sind nur ein paar Meter zum Strand und man hört nur Möwen und die Kühe und Schafe der umliegenden Weiden. Ansonsten Stille und die Aussicht aufs Meer und die Berge rund um Sligo. Wunderbar.
