« They were painting & varnishing the doors of the rooms (including the interior bathroom doors) the day we arrived, which was a busy Saturday! The doors were all tacky & the fumes were strong. The room needed a deep clean, for sure & there were no outlets by the bed like most hotels have. Breakfast was not well laid out & the sausage patties were half dried out, like sausage jerky. The bedding was lumpy & the pillows smelled old & very used. Also, I understand that renovations need to be done,...

« The location was right on the lake with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit on the cooler evenings. The towels at the pool were so convenient. Our room did not have a microwave and the beds were not that comfortable. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay. »

« Exceptionally clean, with incredibly comfortable mattress and pillows in an older style one story roadside motel which made it easy to get luggage in and out. Great location and an outstanding local restaurant right across the parking lot on Gull Lake. Very moderately priced which made it even better. »

« The house was very clean and tidy. The check-in was seamless. We attended our son’s wedding in a nearby town. It was nice to venture out to some local establishments before leaving. It was really nice to be able drink our coffee in the morning watching the wildlife outside the patio window (chipmunks playing & a small deer grazing in early mornings). The area was quiet and relaxing. This location was perfect for privacy/seclusion. We were extremely happy and hope to return someday. »
