„Das absolute Highlight auf meiner sechswöchigen Rundreise! Mit "Junior" hatten wir den besten Guide den man sich wünschen kann. Er kennt sich wirklich aus und war immer freundlich,geduldig und auf unser Wohl bedacht. Die Verpflegung war die Beste auf meiner Reise. „The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate ...

„True jungle experience. Brought in on long covered top boat, must walk on mud steps to get from boat to real steps. Cabins are rustic with screen windows. Bed covered in mosquito netting. Cold showers. Power on 6-9 pm, which was fine bc you go to sleep early. Meals were quite good. Our guide, Marcello, provided by the lodge, was excellent. He saw a myriad of bugs and animals we never would have spotted. Marcello very knowledgeable, made our trip. He took us out on a boat for piranha fishing and ...

"Very nice hotel, big rooms in an old villa, fully equipped. The staff was very friendly and helped with everything you need. The pool area is rather small (it's in the patio and there are no sun loungers), but a nice location where you can spend some time in the shade reading when it is too hot to go outside. Breakfast is served at the table and you get everything you need. The location is quite perfect for Iquitos, directly at the river in the pedestrian zone, which is calm and safe. A lot of restaurants and bars nearby. Heavily recommended. "
