Wir waren Für 3 Nächte und fanden es mega schön, super schönes und sauberes Hotel. Wunderschön in der Nstur gelegen. Sehr freundliche u. Zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Man fühlt sich total willkommen und wohl. Sehr gute und grosse Betten ( Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer) sehr gute Matratzen. Afternoon Tea sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren für 6 Nächte im Fitzpatrick Castle . Hotel. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen die wir kennengelernt haben waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Unser zimmer war super gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten waren total bequem . Es wurde auch jeden Tag gereinigt. Einziges gaaaanz kleines manko war die Wanne/Dusche . Die müsste vielleicht mal etwas erneuert werden . Auch wenn die vorhandene natürlich eher zur Einrichtung des hotels passt . . Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen .

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern in einem sehr schönen und großen Familienzimmer untergebracht. Das Frühstück war grossartig und stets nachgefüllt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Mitatbeiter.

Das Hotel hat Charme, ist aber in die Jahre gekommen. Alles sauber, aber im Waschbecken ein rieisiger Sprung, die Badewanne beschädigt und unzählige Flecken auf dem Teppich. In der Lobby riecht es zum Teil sehr stark nach Essen, in der Nähe des Pools extrem nach Chlor. Es sollte der krönende Abschluss unseres Irland Urlaubs werden und war eine Enttäuschung

Schönes Hotel von außen
Leider kann ich das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen. Die Bedienung kam manchmal erst nach 20 Minuten!!!!!! Wartezeit und das mit Lippenstift verschmierte Glas hat auch niemand bemerkt. Die Reinigung der Zimmer war (trotz Trinkgeld) anscheinend abhängig vom Reinigungspersonal - mal war die täglich zur Verfügung gestellte Wasserflasche im Zimmer sauber, mal war sie "verschmiert", dreckige Bettwäsche - (teilweise mit Löchern) . Das Bad war bestimmt mal schön, jetzt sind die Wände (Fliesen) schimmelig! Ich bin normalerweise nicht so pingelig, habe für das Geld aber etwas besseres erwartet!

Gemütliches Hotel
Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Reception war freundlich und teilweise sehr bestrebt, uns alle Wünsche schnell zu erfüllen. Leider vergaßen sie uns am Abreisetag zu sagen, dass unser Bus zum Flughafen an diesem Tag nicht fährt, was uns eine Taxifahrt von zusätzlichen 86 Euro gekostet hat. Die Kellner in der Bar schienen einige Gäste bevorzugt zu bedienen, leider gehörten wir nicht dazu. Es dauerte immer eine Weile, bis man uns überhaupt bemerkte, trotz ständigem Winken. Auch die Nachorderung dauerte sehr lang. Doch das Bezahlen ging sehr schnell, nachdem wir gesagt haben, dass wir nun gehen würden. Schade eigentlich. Doch sehr gut war der Frühstücksservice. Schnell, freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. So konnte der tag wirklich super beginnen. Das Zimmer war wirklich groß, geräumig und sehr sauber. Zwar mußten wir jeden Tag aufs neue die zusätzlichen Decken bestellen, da unsere Reinigungsfrau immer sehr gut im Aufräumen war. Fazit: Wir haben es genossen.

Many thanks for your review, unfortunately due to heavy snow some of the airport coaches did not operate on the day of your checkout. Der Aufenthalt im Castle war angenehm! Personal und Betreuung der Gäste war auf durchaus hohem Niveau. Würden uns nächstes Mal trotzdem nach einem Hotel näher bei Dublin umsehen. Während unseren 8 Tagen Aufenthalt hatten wir 4 falsche Feueralarme. Zwei davon mitten in der Nacht was als wirklich extrem störend empfunden wurde. Das grosse Positive während unserer Zeit war der "New Year's Eve Black Tie Gala Ball" ein wunderbar toll organisierter Abend mit hervorragendem 5 Gang Menu!

Als "Castle" ein Fake!
WIr haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt! Mitarbeiterin am Empfang sehr unfreundlich (gestresst und genervt). Zustand, insbesondere die Zimmer, sehr überholungsbedürftig. Insgesamt alt und "staubig". Dies als "Castle" zu deklarieren ist eine Unverschämtheit! Außerdem ist es sehr schlecht zu finden.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, könnte allerdings eine Renovierung vertragen. Das Frühstgücksbuffet ist hervorragend und der Service war sehr gut. Das Fitness Studio ist gut ausgestattet aber auch etwas veraltet. Im Umkreis des Hotels befinden sich leider keine Restaurants oder Pubs.

Sehr schönes Hotel in Dalkey
Sehr gepflegt, sehr freundliches Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück, sehr grosses Zimmer. Es war allerdings sehr kalt im Zimmer, da Anfang September die Heizung noch nicht eingeschaltet war und Aussentemperaturen von rund 14 Grad vorherrschten. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

I love this hotel, have stayed here every year, for the past 20 yrs. The staff are unbelievable, especially the day porter now, used to be night porter “Alan”, the receptionist Shannon and the new Bartender I just met “David”. I have never had a problem here, the rooms are spotless and spacious, food excellent, but again, the staff make the place extra special.

The people that work at this hotel are fantastic! Friendly and wanting to care to your every need. I would definitely stay here again, it made our trip to Ireland much better in many ways. I would also like to thank them for having our room ready when we arrived from an overnight flight and weren’t scheduled to check in until afternoon, it was right on time because we were exhausted.

For the price we paid I would expect a bit higher standard. The place was not refurnished for a long time and you can see it. I get it it is old fashion but this is not what I mean here. Was cold overall and darkish. Will I come back ? No not really.

Homely and professional hotel - kids loved it
Get the negatives out the way first. Very average water pressure (my lifelong bugbear) and a slightly convoluted system for use of the pool. Other than that, fantastic in every way. The drive up to the hotel was made extra special by the great lights (we were there just before Xmas). Staff were helpful, professional and friendly in the perfect balance. Room was clean, well furnished, and spacious. Perhaps slightly dark for some but not sure we actually worked out how to turn all the lights on!!! Restaurant was great value and dishes slightly quirky without being weird. Again, perfectly judged. Overall, absolutely loved it and wish we had more than 1 night.

I have stayed there before. It was ok. The breakfast is great. The mattress is very old and thin. Time to get better mattresses.
