Abends konnte man aufgrund der Lautstärke auf der Straße kaum schlafen. Zudem war das Doppelbett für 2 Personen viel zu klein.

Wir waren schon mehrfach in Dublin und das Temple Bar Lane war mir Abstand das schlechteste Hotel das wir bisher besucht haben. Wir wurden von einer zunächst wenig motivierten Rezeptionistin empfangen, die uns erklärte, dass wir für 81€ nur eine sogenannte „Lightbox“ ohne Fenster gebucht hatten, mit einem Upgrade von 15€ konnten wir dann freundlicherweise eine Abstellkammer mit Fenster beziehen, die sich im 3 Stock befand. Einen Fahrstuhl gibt es selbstverständlich nicht. Im Treppenhaus roch es nach Urin und der Teppich auf den Treppen hat auch schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Unser „Zimmer“ entpuppte sich dann als etwa 9 qm grosse Besenkammer. Um das 1,6 m breite Bett war etwa 50 cm platz. Das Bad komplett ausgestattet mit Dusche, WC und Waschbecken, allerdings war Waschen eine Herausforderung, denn das Becken hatte ungefähr Waschlappengrösse und die Dusche war nur für sehr schlanke Personen geeignet. Außerdem gab es für zwei Personen leider nur einen Satz Handtücher. Es war einigermaßen sauber, allerdings schwamm im Wasserkocher irgendwas undefinierbares, so dass wir auf den bereitstehenden Kaffee freiwillig verzichtet haben. Die Lage des Hotels ist toll. Direkt neben der berühmten Temple Bar mitten im Zentrum von Dublin. Es ist nachts etwas lauter, allerdings sind die Fenster recht gut so dass man das ausblenden kann. Fazit: für eine Nacht ok aber mit fast 100€ ohne Frühstück total überteuert.

Das Zimmer war beim Einzug sauber und ok. Es ist zwar klein ohne Fenster, doch dafür auch leise wenn man bedenkt es liegt direkt neben der Temple Bar. Klimaanlage hat funktioniert. WC und Dusche sind wirklich sehr klein und eng. Wenn man auf dem Klo sitzt kann man gleichzeitig den Kopf auf den Waschtisch legen. Nach einer Toilettenbürste mussten wir erst fragen. In den ganzen 5 Tagen Aufenthalt gab es keinen Zimmerservice der Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Kaffee oder Tee mal kontrolliert oder nachgefüllt hat oder mal durchsaust. Um eine neue Rolle Toilettenpapier mussten wir erst bitten. Wir waren über dem langen St. Patricks Day Wochenende da, vielleicht lag es ja daran. Ich würde es als Notunterkunft wieder buchen, jedoch nicht länger als zwei Tage. (Solange hält eine Klopapierrolle)

I was transferred in a sister hotel (camden street hotel) and it is in the same building as a nightclub. worst thing is that the doors are nit working fine - you have to slam them in order to be closed - and a lot of people did that in the night :(

Das Zimmer war dreckig und wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht einmal geputzt. Zimmer ist sehr klein. Überall hatte es Flecken (Bett, Wände, Bad) Die Lage ist jedoch top und auch nicht laut.

Das Waschbecken war ziemlich klein. Einmal hatten wir einen Feueralarm (Fehlalarm). Einmal hatten wir Stromausfall und der Abfluss am Waschbecken war einmal verstopft. Es fehlte ein Safe auf dem Zimmer.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte dort. Das Zimmer ist sauber gewesen und für einen Städtetrip groß genug. Nur war es innenliegend und hatte kein Fenster. Das kann man verkraften, wenn man viel draußen ist. Im Winter hätte ich es nicht gemocht. Was gefehlt hat, waren Aufhänger für die Handtücher im Bad oder Ablagen für die Kosmetiksachen. Platz wäre da. Auch eine Kofferablage fehlt. Ansonsten, ist das Personal sehr freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps. Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkt neben dem Temple Bar Pub. Man muss es also mögen, das es laut ist und viele Menschen auf der Straße.

SUPER centrally located, right about Temple Bar, and we were so pleasantly surprised how quiet it was despite the mayhem on the street below! We loved being able to walk everywhere and the check-in / access process was so easy. Room was very modern, had everything we needed, bed was comfy, and we appreciated the free (instant) coffee in the AM. There was a parking garage (Park Rite) very close to the property which was super convenient.

The property was in an excellent location. The staff were lovely. The cleanliness of our room was terrible. Covered in dust on wall behind beds, behind beds was thick with dust, ceiling had mould and carpet was a trip hazard by bathroom door. Our friends had another room and their room was lovely. Hotel is going through a refurbishment so I think we just got unlucky. It was shame as on paper it was great and as mentions the staff were all lovely and really central for what we wanted.

Hotel is clean and tidy, good value for money, and I a really central location. We stayed in room 105 which was a lot bigger than some of the other rooms but it was like sleeping in the street outside the temple bar pub, was so noisy and didn’t get much sleep. Windows are the issue, very old and draughty and not double glazed hence the noise!

Me encantó este hotel, perfecto para lo que buscabamos. A la par de The temple bar, habitación limpia y la cama deliciosa. Escuchas algo de ruido en la calle pero es normal, o sea estas en pleno centro de Dublin, asi que no importa. Lo veo mas como un hotel para aduktos!!!

Great property right in the heart of everything. The room and shower are quite small but as a solo traveler, if was just fine for me. Bed and pillows are very comfortable for a cheaper hotel and the room was nice and warm. No elevator but shower pressure is great too!

The fire alarm went off 2 of my 4 nights there for about 3 minutes each time which was a little annoying, my bathroom had a bad smell but it wasn’t bad as long as you left the fan on and the door closed. The location was amazing the longest I had to walk to an attraction was 26 minutes which wasn’t bad and the staff were super nice

Definitely recommend
Perfect location. Nice people in reception. We got upgraded to a bigger room (of course happy about that). Not expensive. Looks cheap from the outside but did not feel cheap in the room. Will most definitely come back.
