A hidden gem tucked beneath the hillside — and absolutely worth the trek down.
Getting to the unit requires navigating uneven gravel steps cut into the hillside (no railing), so it's worth knowing ahead of time if mobility is a concern. But the moment you step inside, all of that fades away.
The suite is modern, immaculate, and genuinely cozy — not in a staged, Airbnb-generic way, but in a actually want to stay another night way. The bed was comfortable, the couch was perfect for unwinding, and the gas fireplace beneath the TV made the whole space feel warm and inviting. We ended up watching Netflix longer than planned just because the atmosphere was so good.
Bathroom was clean and functional — just know counter space is limited if you travel with a full toiletry spread. A full kitchen with full-size appliances is available too, though we were only there one night for work and didn't get the chance to use it.
The welcome that greeted us sealed it: homemade cookies and a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. We don't drink, but those cookies were legitimately delicious — and the gesture said everything about how this place is run.
For the price, the cleanliness, and the comfort, I'd recommend this without hesitation. 4/5 stars — and the only reason it's not a 5 is the access path, which is a real consideration depending on who you're traveling with.
