Ein schönes Hotel mit netten Personal. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplätze stehen genug zur Verfügung, lange Check IN zeiten. Bett war etwas zu weich. Zwei Kopfkissen, Bettlaken und ein Handtuch waren leider nicht Fleckenfrei. Vlt nur Zufall da das Hotel sehr sauber wirkt.

Das Hotel ist einfach zu finden
Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt und man kann auch nach Mitternacht nocht einchecken.

Super Hotel !
Wir kamen sehr spät an und blieben nur für eine Nacht. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich, ich würde wieder dort übernachten !

ganz ok
Hotel war in Ordnung, aber nichts aussergewöhnliches. Wenn der Preis stimmt ist's ok. Allerdings zu Fuß ein ganzes Stück vom Stadtzentrum/Bahnhof entfernt (Taxi ca. 4,- GBP). Freundlichkeit des Personals war ok. Leider nicht die typisch britische Einrichtung die man sich gewünscht hätte, und leider auch nicht blitzsauber.

Enjoyable one night stay. Hotel and the grounds are clean and well presented,, staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. He’s was very comfortable, and clean. Food was nice. My only critique was the shower - the glow was very poor despite trying all settings. Would book again though

We loved our stay. We were greeted on arrival by a member of staff who made you feel like you were a guest instead of somebody just paying for a service. First impression counts. The bar staff and dining room staff were also very friendly and courteous and there was ample car parking although it was very busy. The grounds must look lovely in the spring and summer and so we intend to stay here again.

Nice property. Staff excellent! Only negative was no elevator. While there saw a lot of elderly people having to get luggage to second floor. But staff was very helpful and around to lend a hand.

I loved this place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was peaceful, the beds were super comfortable and it exuded all the Scottish charm I was hoping to find.

It was a warm day and the heating was on full in my room. This made it so uncomfortable to stay in so went to the restaurant. I ordered steak pie but did not enjoy it as the sauce was tomato based sauce. Not to my liking.

Thank you for your review,we appreciate you taking the time to pass on your comments. I'm sorry we did not have time to chat whilst you were here. If you had mentioned you were too hot we would of advised that all rooms have thermostatic controls which can be regulated by each occupant. As mentioned in our guest folder we can also supply fans to aid with temperature. We do hope that we can welcome you back again in the future.

You will be very pleased with your choice.
We stayed at this Hotel because of a recommendation from a friend, we were traveling up for a funeral of a very dear friend. So pleased we did, a lovely hotel whose staff are very friendly and willing to please.

Would stay here again
The receptionist went above and beyond. Great comfortable room. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. We had breakfast and would rate this about 7 out of 10. Considering we had an excellent dinner we expected a better cooked breakfast. Bacon could have been cooked a little longer , sausage was dry. The continental was limited and could have been better The apples in the continental were bruised and shouldn’t have been put out. You can catch a bus at the end of the road that goes to the centre of Edinburgh at a very moderate price. I would definitely stay here again.

Great views and comfortable room. All staff were great, including maids. Only down was shower. Power poor and kept going hot cold.
