Mountain Home w/Amazing Views - 12 Min. to Durango - Central AC - EV Charger

  • Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,800 Square foot home ("Durango Valley View") is located in the Animas Valley just 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort to the north. 

    The new home features numerous amenities including central AC, large screen TV with cable and gas fireplace in the Main Living Space along with a well-appointed kitchen that is open to the living room and dining room. Our favorite part of the home is the deck upstairs with comfy outdoor furniture with awesome views of the red rocks across the valley - great for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There is also a hiking trail adjacent to the home and the large back yard is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. Both bedrooms also have TVs (Streaming only).

    The renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf Course along with PJs Market and a great liquor store are just across highway 550 a mile from the house. In the garage, there is a Charge Point Level 2 Electric Vehicle charger rated for 50 amps and will charge up to 30mi per hour.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly, my experience was a little different than the numerous times that I have rented multiple properties from you. The property was not as clean as in the past and needs a visit from the exterminator. There was no coffee packet like in the past and there was a shampoo/soap package in the downstairs bathroom but nothing in the master upstairs.The house is nice but the prep was a little lax this time.

We loved this quiet house outside of town with views of the mountains. It was conveniently located near a grocery store. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.

Great decor; house was in excellent condition. The deck was perfect for watching the sunlight on the mountains and the bucks grazing right outside our door.

Great layout/beautiful home. Located about a 11 minute car ride to downtown Durango. Nice views and hiking trails right from back of property.Only negatives were the very low water pressure in master bathroom shower & the bathroom sink faucets were located too far back from sink bowl causing the sink top to get wet.

This property was 5 stars. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and the beds were so comfortable. The house was clean, had great views and was very well stocked. We hope to come back soon!

I couldn't have asked for a better stay

The home is absolutely beautiful in a beautiful location. The house was very clean upon arrival and communication from the property manager was clear. My wife, myself, and 3 daughters enjoyed our stay to the max and will be back!

Amazing Mountain Retreat

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain home! The location was perfect- about halfway between Durango and Purgatory and right next to Durango Hot Springs.The house itself was clean and incredibly comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing/exploring. The beds were cozy, and everyone slept well.The hosts were responsive and provided great recommendations for the area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape!

Great Home

Loved the location, very nice home, clean, comfortable, with AC and most everything we needed to stay for 10 days. New home and nice furnishings so you are comfortable with open plan kitchen/living room. We had a great experience with management who helped us with a small issue almost immediately. Would definitely stay in the home again.
