Ideal location for ski vacation to Purgatory Resort. Property was as described and provided adequate room for two people and all their ski gear. Would stay at property again.

Great location, clean and convenient

Even set up as a loft style the room set up made it feel like a separate little living room. All remodeled. Three restaurants within walking distance. Quite with a great view. Onsite, jacuzzi, indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, gym, outdoor fire upon request. Only little issue, not bourbon glass. We will rent form next season. Could easily fit two adults and small children.

Reviewer Comments: The room has a nice mountain view and is convenient to the Purgatory ski resort, about 12 minutes drive. The lodge provides guests access to indoor and out door heated swimming pools, spa, sauna, steam rooms and gym equipments. Things I felt less satisfied about the room amenities are cookware and the dish washer. Cooking pans are aged and not easy to clean. The dish washer was not effective in washing utensils and dishes. We had to clean again after washing. There were powders remained on whatever we put in the washer for cleaning.

Lovingly decorated room with versatile and impressive function/space and great decorative details. Incredible view and wonderful area surrounded by majestic mountains. Resort gym, hot tub, and pools were wonderfully relaxing highlights - plus beautiful golf course and hiking trails to stroll around was unexpected delight. Minor complaints (which did not impact overall experience) - resort's sauna light was not working, resort's steam shower did not seem to turn on after ~5pm, and only available wifi is unsecured (no password, VPN recommended). Overall, I overwhelmingly recommend this room, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place!

We enjoyed this property and stay so much! We stayed as a family of 4 and both the Murphy bed and regular bed were very comfortable. The resort was nice because it was a little north of Durango, easy to get to but away from downtown, very nice and quiet. The pool was perfect for our kids and we enjoyed renting clubs and playing golf on site. We will definitely be returning!

The large room with modern kitchen is ideal for summer or winter. The resort is perfect for everyone. Great dining is available on property or head into Durango for numerous choices. The kitchen in the room will not disappoint! Everything is new and clean! We loved our stay and recommend this location that takes you away from it all but is close enough to be connected to activities in Durango! This is a great getaway and will provide great memories of Colorado for years to come.Glad we made this choice. Will be at the top of our list when selecting accommodations in the Durango/Silverton area.
