Welcome to Onset Village - The Gateway Village of Cape Cod, completely surrounded by ocean. Onset Village is 1 square mile , has 1200 yearly villagers, and grows to nearly 4000 summer residents. An international staple of aquatic entertainment & family friendly adventure - Onset is an epicenter for Family Fun adventure and aquatic action sports, in Cape Cod Massachusetts.

“The Flamingo social House” The Flamingo social House is one of three buildings located within “The Cape Cod Canal Compound – Beach-Harbor-Canal : Lodge & Oceanic Habitat”. “The Flamingo Social House” features five SMALL overnight rooms THREE available for nightly rental. Each room is JUST a BEDROOM with a bed. The Kitchen, The Board Room (Dining room), The Club House, and bathroom are open to ALL GUESTS.Two of the rooms are reserved for live-in interns and “The Inn Keeper”. The innkeeper polices & maintains the common spaces throughout the day to ensure the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

The social house staff provides and maintains a stocked snack bar & continental breakfast with fresh fruit & locally baked goods.

Additionally the social house staff will provide laundry services to guests requesting such services.

All personal belongings of guests are to remain INSIDE the room OR vehicle of the guest. Lodge staff police the open space of the lodge for “messes” or unattended belongings.

The rooms inside “The Flamingo social House” are very small. The concept of the rooms is providing access to the aquatic and road equipment here at the Lodge. The rooms are designed for Two Adults and NO EXCEPTIONS can be made for such. There are also NO pets in the social house beyond Kilian the Lodge Hypoallergenic Dog.

The Park View Room - Second floor -Queen bed w/ headboardless bedframe - Roughly 10’FT X 9’FT Square Feet and small reach in closet with an Electric fireplace and Counter that works as a tiny work top area. The bedroom has a view out one window to the gardens of Wabon Park across the front road of the Lodge. The room has its own AC unit, Air purifier, and each side of the bed has its own individual Fan. The Room has a 40” Smart TV with ROKU: NETFLIX & FUBO Subscription included. A Electric lantern for outdoor travel, A Outdoor Bluetooth speaker, and 2 water bottles / cups

The Bunk Room, Ground Floor - Outlet from Club Dining Room. BUNK BED W/ two twin XL beds in bunk bed formation - Roughly 9’FTX11’FT square feet, fishing pole holders on ceiling, and a small window with NO VIEW. The room has its own AC unit. And each bed features its own 30” TV & Fan for personal comfort. - The room is designed for two Single Adult friends to travel to cape cod affordably. Geared toward adventure thrill seekers who want to see wild life, catch shell fish, & fisherman seeking the thrill of the best striped bass fishing in the world via the cape cod canal which is the only place on earth where water flows uphill. or beach goers looking to experience the famous Buzzards Bay offering world class sailing and boating.

The Ocean View Room Second floor-Queen Bed on a headboardless bed frame- Roughly 12’FTX20’FT Square Feet with a 35” smart TV hanging from the ceiling. The bedroom features spectacular views through a HUGE 6’ window overlooking Glen Cove, The beach & Habitat, and the Boat ramp. The room features a Coffee Dinette table in front of the large panoramic window - providing a stable work top space. The room has its own AC unit, Air purifier, and Fan. This room is perfect for young professional couples looking to experience the magic of sleeping inside an aquatic habitat. The room faces east which provides INCREDIBLE summer heat but AMAZING morning views.

Boat Dockage & Mooring Accommodations: The Cape Cod Canal Compound Lodge & Harbor can accommodate vessels spanning upto 100’ Ft in length and 7’ FT in depth

The Equipment Rental at the Lodge: Guests of the social house enjoy FREE access into “www.PlayHereCapeCod.com” equipment network, and VIP access to the Excursion Menu & Talent Roster. - Consult PlayHere & Your INNkeeper for details .

The Bathroom: The Bathroom is GUEST ONLY & staff utilize the staff only bath / laundry room. The bathroom has a time limit of 40 minutes and has a digital clock on the wall for easy calculation. Each Guest room is equipped with a bathroom Caddie with Slippers & Bathroom essentials. As well as wipes, Hand Sanitizer, Lotion, & Tissues inside the Guest Room. The Light and fan is ALWAYS on - our staff cleans and services the bathroom periodically. This bathroom is small with a single shower stall, with a sink and toilet. The bathroom is stocked with bathroom essentials such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner, soaps, bug spray, sun tan lotion, and Anti Acids. All of the rooms utilize the one small bathroom. We limit bathroom use to 40 min per use.

“The Club House” & “The Board Room” / The living room and Dining Room (BREAKFAST: 7AM - 10AM ~ OPEN TABLE:11AM-5PM ~ DINNER:5PM-8PM ~ QUIET HOUR:8:00PM) serve as the Lodges Clubhouse and “The Board Room” where the Innkeeper hosts movies, video games, and fun group activities.

Guests of the Lodge enjoy complimentary access to a variety of recreational activities / Equipment Rental Operations, Including kayaks and paddle boards Via Kilian’s Locker, bikes, e-bikes, and sports equipment from The Parks & Rec Road Unit, pedal boats and canoes from The Compound Boat Landing. The resort hosts lively events such as cornhole tournaments, movie nights, bake-and-paint experiences, and more. Guests of the Flamingo Social House receive FREE admission to ALL public events hosted at The Compound, adding value and excitement to guests adventure while here on cape cod.

The Kitchen / Bar / Cafe / General Store: The kitchen is a common space, Each room gets a “Kitchen Locker” Cabinet that locks for the storage of their food. The kitchen does have a “Public Fridge - Stainless steel” & a “Private Guest Fridge- Black Color” of which guests can put food inside - INSIDE a paper bag - with a sharpie with their name & DATE & TIME of when it went into the fridge. The Lodge does provide fresh drinking water. The kitchen has a SMALL oven, & SMALL microwave & AIr fryer guest have access to. - Any questions please contact the inn keeper for arrangements.

The Onset Beach Patio:Is a Back yard patio hang out area featuring a 65” Outdoor TV & propane fire pit. (SPACE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND NOT COMPLETE - SEE PHOTOS)

The InnKeeper: The Flamingo Social House is managed by Ken & Kilian. Kilian is a 13 year old airedale Terrier who is deaf. Ken works in the harbor & in the city developing civil infrastructure as a civil engineer of which he enters his 20th year with his firm. Ken has worked as a Host for the compound for 7 years. Living on the Lodges Yacht “The Givers Gains” with a spouse & an intern for several years. Ken enjoys the harbors of Cape Cod and is a popular local along the shores of Boston to Ptown. There isnt ANYWHERE on the water in cape cod that doesnt know Ken & Kilian. This Cape Codder team brings a local non-chalant “A matter of fact” energy to hosting that is often characterized as “Willy Wonka like” - Ask Ken about the history of the cape cod canal, or Where in town the British landed when they invaded in 1768.





SPRING DRINKING WATER- INCLUSIVE

Onset Village has its own reservoir less than 0.3 miles away, with one of the United States most awarded waters. We encourage tap water consumption but do provide a spring water pitcher to fill water bottles located inside of The Flamingo Club House.

Guests of the Flamingo House receive a #PlayHere VIP Pass, granting complimentary access to Kilian’s Locker, The Parks & Rec Road Unit, and The Boat Landing, which offer kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, pedal boats, bikes, e-bikes, and more for exploring the bays and surrounding village.

Guests of the Flamingo House receive a #StayHere VIP Pass is included with every stay, providing free admission to resort-hosted events, competitions, and parties with price of accommodation.

Fishing Poles & Tackle rental- INCLUSIVE

Fishing poles and gear are included with each stay, free of charge. The poles will be provided upon request, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy fishing during their visit.

Quiet Policy

The Flamingo House maintains a strict quiet policy to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for all guests. Music speakers and instruments are not permitted, as they may disturb others. Guests are kindly asked to use headphones and be considerate of fellow visitors.





Front Door Access & Quiet Hours

The Flamingo social House has a unique door code for the main house door. Quiet hours are from 8PM - 7AM, we ask guests arriving within these hours to be extremely quiet for the comfort of our other guests.

Door Locks & Security

The main cottage door is protected by a keypad deadbolt that remains locked most of the day. Each guest room has a PRIVATE keypad lock with a unique code provided only to the guest. This code expires at 9 AM on check out day. Security cameras are installed in common areas for safety purposes. No cameras or audio devices are ever placed in bathrooms or private guest rooms.

2 GUESTS PER ROOM MAX- NO PETS

Maximum of 2 guests per room, ZERO exceptions. No visitors are permitted — registered guests only. No pets allowed, including service animals, of ANY type.





NO OUTSIDE FURNITURE OR FIRE PITS OR GRILLS

NO furniture is permitted to be brought onto the property. Additional furniture, fire pits, grills, bikes, ANYTHING, will result in a “block” of the designed and intended pedestrian flow/ emergency access. The moveability throughout the property is essential to the safety of our staff and guests. Guests in violation will be removed from the property without refund and such belongings will be removed/ placed into the compound's trash receptacles IMMEDIATELY.





NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY

The Flamingo social House is a ZERO smoking facility. Every room has very sensitive sensors.
