« Very sparsely furnished, furniture was worn. With no decor it felt very cold and sterile. »

« The place was clean, well decorated and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find, nice location with quick access to downtown. My only complaint is the place smelled horribly of cigarettes. There was several glade plug ins, I guess to mask the smell, but it was still very strong. Even our clothing after leaving smelled. I didn't notice mention of it in other the reviews, so maybe it is something new, but either way was really disappointing for...

« Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

« We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go on our visit to Dubuque. A good brewery is next door and a good bistro is half a block away. Other coffee shops are a block away and a top notch eatery a block away with the Carnegie-Stout Public Library about three blocks away. »

« The location of this VRBO was great, very close to downtown with parking offerred. However the listing makes the space look nicer than it is. There are dishes provided, however just piled in the corner, cheap dishes. No toiletries included. There were also holes in our drywall. »

« The pictures are exactly correct! It was quiet! And....You are 1 block from downtown. Make sure you visit the Nook bookshop the Readers Cup coffee shop and George's local restaurant! The apartment was clean and we even saw a cleaner in the hall doing the front windows and floor during our stay. The neighbor hood was safe and you get off street parking which is perfect for the busy Saturdays! »

« What a treat it was to stay in this fun apartment! The prison decor was very cute, it stayed right in theme. The space was great, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the kitchen had everything you needed. And Rebecca was a great host and communicate communicated quickly. We would certainly stay again! »

« This is our 3rd time staying in on of Ken’s properties. Always clean,, plenty of room, and great directions for parking and getting into the rental. The location is perfect and close to everything downtown Dubuque. »

« Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling) »
