« We really enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. Beds were comfortable. I have a bad back and really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub after a day of hiking and also enjoyed the massage chair. Host was very quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again. »

« Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce. »

« We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon! »

« The property is meticulously maintained. The views of the river were claming after a long day of travel, the cabin was extremely comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Everything you could possibly need is present. My opinion is this place is a bargain for the price. Definately beats a hotel hands down. If I return to the area, I will definately book again!
