„Our stay was very nice. The place was clean and well kept. Beds were very comfy and loved the size of the kitchen. We had a great experience with the owner who was very helpful. Definitely would stay again. “

„unfortunately, we reserved this property for myself and my three children as we were bringing in my son’s birthday. When we walked in the property, there was a roach in the master bath, the main door was not clean, there was a smell and mildew. There was visual mildew around the guest bathroom.. for the property managers request. I provided pictures of evidence upon check-in and received. No urgent communication.. unfortunately we lost our money and have not heard back from the property manager ...

„I stayed here for the weekend while attending The Superbowl and the commute was a little distance away but wasn’t too far. The host was very communicative & considerate during my stay. She provided snacks & water and left courteous notes. I would recommend others to stay!!“

„Nice rental - hence the 4 stars. Not 5 stars but not 3 if that makes sense. Everything was provided except there should be more towels. Only washcloths provided were the 2 make up towels on vanity. The entryway should have been swept clean as it is the first impression. Back yard needed mowing when we arrived and was taken care of very early next morning. The house is in a great neighborhood for taking walks and is just a short drive to restaurants, stores, etc. We spent time in Mandeville, Slidell and New Orleans and each day, we were thankful to get back to the house to relax and unwind.“

„It’s like a bachelor pad. Glass Shower door was missing half of the glass. Reasonable distance from the French Quarter. Not a lot of kitchen amenities. But over all it worked good for 8 adult family men for 4 days. “

„Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool. Sleeps 22 but do take note there are 12 beds. Bring your own soap to shower but over all very nice place and good ...

We really enjoyed the peace and quietness by the river. The water inside the house was a bit murky but I believe that's an external issue throughout St. Tammany parish. "Wir waren eine Gruppe von 11 Leuten. Die Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich schön am Wasser gelegen, doch sehr ab von der City. Wir erkundigten uns vorher, ob es einen Bus gibt, der in die City fährt, was uns vor Ort mitgeteilt wurde, der Bus kostet 20$ p. P.! Des Weiteren waren die Betten soooo unsagbar weich, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Dann sind einige Hütten recht marode und die Löcher im Biden wurden nur mit PVC einfach zugemacht. Man sinkte trotzdem ein. Dann ist die „Rezeption“ nur bis 17 Uhr geöffnet, das wussten wir nicht! Das war Zufall, dass wir vor 17 Uhr ankamen. Das einige schöne war auch, dass man genügend Waschmaschinen und Trockner hatte (5 und 5)! Es gab auch noch ein Fischrestaurant, doch leider essen bei uns wenig Fisch (bis 21 Uhr geöffnet). "

"Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit nicht allzu motivierten Personal. Personal reagiert auf anfragen nicht. Frühstück eine Katastrophe in allen Belangen. Kann das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen wenn es vergleichbare alternativen gibt. Preis/Leistung stimmt einfach garnicht."
