„We finished our summer holiday at this lovely castle and everything was just perfect. We were treated so nicely and couldn’t have asked for more. I particularly liked the tasteful design of the bathroom and felt taken back a few decades. There is a lovely cat that likes to be cuddled and a award-winning garden outside. The owners are very helpful and enjoy chatting with their guests, we were even provided with the perfect guide for a scenic tour about the area. Nevertheless a word of warning: ...

„Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre, dass es sehr hellhörig ist, wenn man ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss hat. Wir haben die Gäste über uns die ganze Zeit hin und her gehen hören und die Spülung des Badezimmers. Ansonsten war es ein tolles Zimmer und neuwertig eingerichtet.“

„Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry Bottles of water by the bedside and even my favourite Costa Coffee pods for the coffee maker Beautiful restaurant/cafe downstairs. Breakfast was included in my stay and was one of the best I’ve had Staff were very helpful and very nice Really can’t fault it and would definitely stay again “
